Product Description
This BMF combat fighter pocket knife is the perfect pocket knife for a soldier or law enforcement officer. The thumb stud allows for easy one-handed opening and the low-profile pocket clip ensures an inconspicuous carry, but ensures this knife will always be right by your side when you need it. The black aluminum handle is crafted with gripping bumps so it's easy to grip, even while wearing gloves. The glass-breaker punch is devastating to even thick windows, in case you need to rescue a fallen comrade from a wrecked vehicle.
I buy many pocket knives throughout the year, all from Bud's, to use daily here on the farm and animal sanctuary. I buy many inexpensive knives and keep them in the barn and feed houses to use for everything from cutting hay bale twine to trimming rough edges off a horse's hoof. This knife, however, never leaves my pocket and is my go to knife for everything. Today it opened a box from my mom, thin-sliced hardboiled eggs for lunch, cut twine and trimmed small pine branches that were in my way. I've used this knife this way for 5 mos. and it has held its edge the whole time. The blade is sturdy and doesn't have a nick on it. It's heavier weight feels substantial in my hand, not flimsy as other inexpensive knives can feel. The assisted open glides smooth and a small flick of the wrist locks it open fast from less than 20 degrees. This knife would certainly be an asset if I needed to defend myself, but let's face it, most of us use pocket knives as multi-purpose tools. We are much more likely to need it to remove a splinter, cut off a fan belt, cut some wood shavings as tinder or open some impossible packaging than to fight off a ninja. This knife is great for real life. I'm buying more tonight for Xmas gifts. . .and of course, for me!

Quality knife
This knife is top notch. Looks great. Feels natural in my hand. The size and weight are perfect in my opinion. It came pretty dang sharp straight out of the box but not quite razor sharp. A couple of light swipes thru my sharpener made it shaving sharp. I wouldn't recommend this knife for a child. This thing could do some serious damage in the wrong hands. It is handcrafted in China, however they made this knife correct. I've purchased a couple of knives from BudK that were crafted in China and I must say they are some of my best knives. This is another high quality item at a rock bottom price from BudK. Customer for life!

Good deal
It's a good solid, sturdy knife. The blade wasn't very sharp and it was pretty stiff to open, but after a little sharpening and loosening the screw a bit, it opens up smooth as silk & is razor sharp. Also, the thumb stud has good size and placement, making it extremely easy to flip open quickly. Probably the only thing that would make it better would be to add a spring assist feature. The only real problem I had was that the knife came with the finish chipped off on some edges and the finish on the belt clip has been rubbing off fairly quickly just from normal use. Other than that, it's a great knife for the money

THIS KNIFE FLIES
I have a lot to say about this knife... First, it's not an blade assisted knife but that is not a bad thing as the blade comes out smooth and easy and locks up solid with a distinct 'click' moving the blade out fast or slow. Not being blade assisted makes it legal in most states, also. I love the clean look and design and with the serrated blade who needs a seat belt cutter? It is comfortable in the hand and affords a good grip. The handles are aluminum and built solid and strong for some heavy duty work and will take a lot of punishment. It has some weight to it but still will be comfortable for all day carry and is an every day, do all, liner lock. Etched on the blade is "BMF Combat Fighter" and the blade is AUS-6 stainless steel. I haven't figured out what 'BMF' stands for but no matter, this knife is nice and worth triple the price and the neat etched WWII Army Air Force insignia on the handle is neat, too! This is probably the best Bud K knife for the money that I have bought and I have bought four of these and just ordered another one with a recent order. Christmas is coming up! If you're in law enforcement, the military, fire and rescue, zombie hunter, or just a knife lover then this knife is for you, trust me and if you don't like this knife I will let you stab me in the eye with it. BUY IT!

Good knife
I like this knife, however I wish it had more weight to it. I know some( probably most ) people want a lighter knife nut I like a good solid feel to mine. Other than that, this is a great blade for the price, very sharp and looks good. definitely recomend.
