Product Description
Honor and Courage are two codes by which surely every Samurai lived. This exclusive Samurai folder features a Japanese etch meaning "Honor And Courage," the embodiment of the Samurai legacy.
either the clip's in the wrong spot or it's a lefy or something
surprised no one has mentioned it. look at the image, visualize it in your pocket and trying to speed-draw it. clip is in an awkward position, even effecting the grip. pretty sure i'm going to wind up removing it entirely.
that being said, this is a very hefty little knife, gives a satisfyingly meaty switchbladey click when it snaps open. feels overbuilt, frankly, for a ten dollar knife. probably discounted because of the deeply stupid unspeedy clip placement. spike on the base is no joke either, on such a heavy hunk of metal.

A good knife
For how inexpensive this knife is, it sure is good. It's nothing super special, but the knife is fairly sharp, has a good shape and weight, and folds out nicely. When I first got it, the locking mechanism didn't want to work, but after a little while of playing with it, it began to work perfectly. I've had the knife for a month now and it still works and looks great.

Heavy
Just got it and is in great condition. We'll see how it holds up and post another review later if my opinion changes. Heavy, fast opening and sharp (not me sharp but decent. If it holds up good i may get one for my friends as gifts.

Great Feel
The Samurai Pocket Knife is more than what it is advertised to be. Knife has a great weight and feel to it. Opening mechanism works very easily and smooth. The blade shape lends it to many uses and it "is sharpe." At he price it was much more of a bargain than anticipated. Better get one before they are gone!

Great knife!
This is a fantastic little knife, I bought this on the buy one get one free sale, and i am extremely impressed with it. It needs to be sharpened a tad, however, the knife it self opens perfectly and i will be buying more. Thanks Budk!

Impressed
This was one of my first purchases from Bud K. Color me impressed. I haven't seen a whole lot of knives that are this good out of the box for this price. I originally bought it just for the significance of the kanji. Now I'm getting more for gifts this gift giving season.

Excellent Value
This is a substantial folder, hefty and tight. I am brutal on knives and this one holds up and takes lateral force well for a folder. The spring mechanical assist moves the 4 inch blade out fast and the stop bar is still solid after over a hundred openings. I have no use for the clip but it is easy to remove it. The blade doesn't hold an edge all that well for what I do with it, but is easily resharpened; that is to be expected in a 10 dollar knife. When I find a good knife, I usually buy another for back-up in case I loose it or finally wear it out. So far, it looks like #2 is going to stay nice and shiny in its' box for quite a while.

This knife is totally cool. Everyone at work is impressed by the katana like handle and the fast action of the spring assist. And the value too its only 12 bux how sweet is that! This is my new permanent pocket knife so cool!

Nice
Mine are good. I'd like some more and should have added more to the list. But too late now. Don't feel like paying the shipping for two more. But they are nice. Hope they endure.

Great Buy
Great buy. Bought it for $6.00 (special). The blade was sharp but hard to deploy right out of the box, but after 20+ deployments the blade started to loosen up. Bigger & heavier than my other knives, but feels comfortable. I would suggest roughing up the blade spur to provide leverage when opening. My finger kept slipping when it was wet and took me several attempts before it opened. Overall a good knife for everyday use.

Good but falls appart
It is a really nice knife, it is, for $10 you can't do much better. Except on Budk. for $15 there is a licensed U.S.M.C. knife that doesn't have screws falling out. If you have the tools to tighten the screws (common stuff) then there isn't a problem. I love the weight, the ease of cleaning, the ease of sharpening, the decent edge retention. At the same time, UC3020 is a knife for $5 more that takes no work to maintain (at the very least much less) and comes slightly sharper. So I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, I would recommend the other knife to a friend.

Nice Look
The lines and look of the knife are very attractive and actually provide good grip strength. The spring activation is quite strong and the lock has worked well thus far. The only issue I have observed is that the set screws at the top and bottom have become loose over only a 2 week usage. This has allowed the glass break to become loose as well as loosened the pivot point of the blade to allow the blade lock to go past the blade and get stuck on the side. Albeit a lot of usage, it should not have become loose this fast. But for the money, and a small allen wrench, it was worth it.

I bought this knife for my wife to carry in her purse. We were both surprised at how quick the order arrived, and in the quality of the knife. The all metal handle fits snugly in both her's and my hands, the clip does not feel uncomfortable and the opening action is incredibly smooth. The edge is nice, but I will post later on how it holds up.

Aesthetically plaesing, but not great.
I've had this knife for a year and it's fallen apart at least three times. I've put it back together twice, which isn't easy, but no more. I'm not impressed with this knifes usability anymore.
It is a good looking blade and I have enjoyed the feel in my hand somewhat, but having the knife "hyper extend" is making it useless, and honestly, unsafe.

The knife broke within 3 days of using it to cut tape off of boxes at work. I wasn't even the receiver at our facility so I might have opened 4 boxes a day with it at most and the blade fell went backwards and now swings instead of being held in place. Find a better knife.
