Product Description
This distinctive folder is based on the historical Greek kopis sword. The blade is constructed from AUS-8A stainless steel and features a thumb plate that can be used in quickly opening the knife. This folder incorporated the patented and rigorously tested Tri-Ad locking mechanism that vastly increases the safe operation of this knife. The injection molded, contoured Grivory handle offers steel liners for strength and is heavily textured for a superb grip. Includes dual pocket clips to allow ambidextrous carry. 4 1/2" blade. 6" closed. Cold Steel, 21S
all i have to say is holy crap this knife is amazing! first of it comes super razor sharp right out of the box. the handle is a mazing and feels great in the hand. the lok mech is a lock back with arnold swarzenager streangth. the only down side is rust resistance. not so good but easily fixed by just keeping away from moisture and mumidity, and keeping it in pockets away from the body so it doesnt get covered in sweat (salt water is steels kryptonite. its highly corrosive and speeds rust)

This is a serious knife - let there be no doubt about it. The blade is big (not massive) and has that nice curve to it. It came very sharp indeed right out of the box. The locking mechanism is very tight and extremely solid - which is the right way to do it. The handle is the only part of the knife I would change - believe it or not, but it's to small for me. I would've preferred it just a bit longer, as my 4 fingers are squished much to tight in there.

Would I recommend this knife to others? Indeed, especially if you're serious about your own safety.. :)

This is an awesome blade. The only problems are that the lock is difficult to actuate and if you sweat a lot it is best to have something in your pocket to protect it from the sweat, as I discovered when it showed oxidation within an hour of being in my pocket on a hot summers day. But those are minor issues easily taken care of. The blade is extremely sharp. The handle is awesome, although when the blade is closed it looks bulkier than expected. Overall a good buy.

This is the 3rd blade made by Cold Steel I've purchased & I must say I was let down a bit. The very edge of this one came uneven. One side was steeper than the other. I tried not to think too much about it until I started using it and discovered it preformed poorer than expected. Every Cold Steel blade before this came VERY, VERY sharp. This one had trouble cutting everyday objects. I've tried to re-sharpen the edge with moderate improvement.
I will say that the knife as a whole is a great bargain! I just wish I would have tried to exchange it for a new one before trying to fix the problem on my own.
