Razor sharp outta the box, can't tell you much about the glass breaker and the seat-belt cutter (Hope i never gotta use'em) other than they're there and in good shape,
And for less than five bucks this knife is amazing

Brilliant!
By far one of my favorites from Budk! I was skeptical on the quality of the knife when I saw the price, however was never once disappointed by it. It came as described, stays sharp and sharpens easily when needed, it's durable and I'm pleased to say it stays secured wherever I clip it - whereas the clip on many pocket knives tend to be less sturdy than the blade and can come detached a little too easily. I carry one with me all the time; I work outdoors so it comes in super handy. I've given at least half a dozen as gifts. Great to carry with you or leave in your car. This little rescue blade is more than worth the money!!

Great Knife
I was skeptical about this knife, since it is only $6, but I took the risk and it was worth it. It was delivered with a very sharp edge, and the shape of the handle makes it very comfortable to hold. The screws are also black, so they blend very nicely into the rest of the handle. I would certainly recommend this knife to people looking for a rescue knife, but don't want to drop the money for the more expensive, bigger-brand alternatives.

Can't Beat for price.
This is a great knife, and the price is even better. I was a little skeptical because of the price but it is a quality piece. Very sharp and works well. It is not an assisted opener though.

Sturdy and robust
With most knives I either break the tip off or the hinge comes apart. This a very sturdy knife.I got one for my son also had he has started carrying it. Based on the price I was expecting a much thinner blade and handle. The 'assisted open' pins work great for one-handed opening (with a little practice). Note to other posters: spring assisted opening knives are illegal unless you are LEO.

Sharp
This and other knives of this type are great knives. I purchase these rescue knives to give to policemen and women, also firemen and EMTs. When I see them I walk up and offer them a knife free of charge. I really like soing this for them, no emergency worker should be without one of these. I know that they can afford to purchase one themselves, but I find great pleasure in purchasing the knives and handing one to them. I would like this knife even more if it had a serrated edge and spring assist for opening. Still it is a great knife. Very sharp, sturdy build, and a very reasonable price.

Well worth it
I don't really like the lateral lock mechanism, but this one works perfectly. Comfortable size, serious looks, and seems to be made out of good stuff.

Great Knife
I bought 2 of these knives to give as gifts and after receiving them I wish I would have gotten one for myself. Good size and weight. Pleasing to the eye. Unbeatable price. For $6, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. I would be happy with the knife even if I had paid $20 or more. No it's not sharp as a razor out of the box but about 5 swipes thru my Lansky took care of that. This knife will definitely be in my shopping cart on my next purchase. Keep the great deals comin' BudK!

great
because I always lose or break my knives I buy cheap but as durable as possible knives. I usually stay away from this brand because of its cheap material quality in my experience. however being a very big knife skeptic I bought 4 of these knives right off the bat and I must say they are some of the best knives I have ever bought regardless of price they are not razor sharp but sharp enough for a regular pocket knife if you want them skinning sharp it will take a little more work. I did say I buy cheap knives but i have bought expensive knives ill take these out any day over most of my gerbers they are light weight all metal construction nice blade nice lock and easy opening without the usual risk of cutting yourself like some of the other knives that close too tightly

COOL TOOL
I noticed some negative reviews on this liner lock but observing mine, which I received within five days after ordering, I was very pleased with it! It appeared to have quality far above the price and was tight locking with no play at all and sufficiently sturdy all around! Time in using it will be the true test but looking at it, handling this knife, it is worth double the money, easily! It is sharp! Concerning the screws becoming loose with use, I purchased a set of multiple screwdriver type "star" bits that have all the small sizes of the star screws that are used in most liner lock knives these days so I have no problems with screws after having purchased this star set. Harbor Freight Tools has this star set which will service all of Bud K knives for loose screws! Happy trails liner-lock lovers!

Decent knife for price
Decent knife for the price. Screws have the habit of backing theirselves out, I've secured mine with lock tight and haven't had a problem since.

Ridge Runner Tac
Good knife for the price. Be aware of the fact that many areas of our Country consider assisted-opening knives to be "switchblades", and since this knife is NOT assisted-opening---things are cool! Also, like where I live (New Jersey), blade-length is another consideration (can't be more than 3.5 inches). Keeping those issues in mind, this is a good and legal-to-carry knife and a useful tool if needed.

great for the price
This is a fairly good knife for its price. I got it for my dad for father's day and I had it engraved. I expected a much lower quality for only $6. It's all metal and seems quite sturdy. It would make a really good gift cuz no one is gonna guess that its $6. Don't get me wrong, it's no substitute for a $20 or $30 knife but it is a steal for what you pay

Great for the price!
Awesome knife!! It came in pretty sharp and works great as an everyday knife!!

Durable
I go through knives on a regular basis, usually the hinge or clip. I got these on a regular visit, and enjoy them a lot. The clip is different from others in that it loops before being fastened, Which should give it more durability. I always sharpen my knives often,as I am hard on the edge. These are great for the price, and very light in weight.

It's 6 bucks and lasts.
Arrived a bit dull, only took a couple minutes to get razor sharp, im extremely hard on knives, this lasted about a year before the pocket clip fell off, still using it tho. For the price what is there to complain about? Locks up tight to this day and i've used it for all the things people cringe when they see knives used for.

Nice knife
I'm not a knife person. But I remember as a youngster my grandfather always wore a watch, carried a hanky & he always carried a pocket. He would use that pocket for just about everything. Although his pocket knife was much smaller, I was influenced to try this one in particular. I just like the overall design & especially the heft. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars...the blade wasn't all the sharp. I had to sharpen it. I am seriously considering getting the red one. I would still recommend this one though. Thanks for making great product.

Ummmm....
Lets see. great size, came sharp, it's a beautiful knife and I've ordered many ridge runner knives and they are a fantastic buy. the only problem with this one, the description is wrong. fair warning, THIS IS NOT AN ASSISTED OPEN KNIFE. at least mine was not. though the opening motion is smooth. for $6 though, I would buy this again.
