Product Description
Get back to basics with this Sod Farmer folding knife brought to you by Ridge Runner. Simplicity is the order of the day, and no fancy gadgets or mechanisms will be found on this classic pocket knife.
I've bought many products through BUDK, and can honestly say I've never been disappointed.. There are occasional issues with consistency, this is to be expected considering the companies effort to bring you the lowest prices.. It's important to remember how low the price is, and that issues BUDK is directly responsible for (shipping, and engraving) are done at a level in both price and speed that set industry standards..and for the record, In NO way am i affiliated with the company or it's employees.. Just a proud customer!

Bought 4 of them on the BOGO deal, I see where some folks haven't been too happy, mine were nice, they open and close firmly-not hard, just firm, good looking, nice sturdy, old fashioned honest pocket knife, for the price,I'm more than pleased !

great everyday knife
picked a couple of these on the BOGO sale, they are a little bigger than I thought very well built, and would make a very nice everyday knife. Kind of like a sod buster, reminds me of grandpas whittler. It almost locks in place when opened. fairly sharp out of the box, and a couple passes over a stone and could shave the hair off my arm.

Not really great
I was expecting a great knife for tough jobs, and it will work fine once it's opened. The hard part is getting the knife out and closing it, as it is too tight and the hinge is rusted. The knife also closes way off center so that it scrapes the side on the way down. I'll be trying to fix it but this is way below the quality I usually see from Ridge Runner or BUDK.

Rough
Bought two since they are BOGO. both knives are very rough in fit and finish. Both knives came with very dull blades. The slipjoint mechanism is nice and tight with little to no play when opened, just rough overall with lots of grime in the blade/handle area. The rearside of the blade you do not see in the photo comes prominently stamped with "PAKISTAN". As a recommendation check out here at BUDK the Kissing Crane Brown Mule knife, it is a few bucks more than this one, but it is made in China and it is higher quality with the identical dimensions as this Paki Ridge Runner knife.
