Schrade Imperial Stockman Pocket Knife

I purchased 6 of these knives to give as gifts to my employees. First one to break it was a knife collector, said it was a really cheap knife, the plastic cover broke at center rivet. Second one to break was mine, same place, I think I dropped it on my kitchen floor. Third one that broke was my sons knife, same place. He hadn't even noticed. In short, this knife is ok, the blade is rust proof but is too soft to hold and edge for any length of time. The covering on the handle is crap plastic. In contrast, I have a 20 year old Shrade (not imperial Schrade) which I purchased at the old factory in ellenville, ny that is still,in fine working order, despite having been used as a utility knife for the last 10 years.
