The H1 blade steel features the corrosion resistance of lesser grades of stainless steel, but the blade retention of carbon steel. All other steel components of the knife have also been treated to make them impervious to the weather. Each Spyderco Salt I knife features a Volcano textured yellow handle for a great grip even with gloved or wet hands.
