Product Description
The Rampage Assisted Opening Stiletto from United Cutlery opens with the speed of an expensive, high-end knife at a tenth of the price. The razor sharp 4" stiletto point, black-coated stainless steel blade offers a blade spur equipped with an advanced assisted opening mechanism for speedy, one-handed opening. This innovative stiletto also offers a remote pocket opener, allowing you to deploy the blade as you remove it from your pocket! The slim profile is hardly felt in a pocket, but when the blade is deployed, it transforms into a fearsome self defense knife.
This is one of the best carry knives for the price if you want a excellent Christmas present you can't go wrong with this knife

Great
Works great, had to leave it at home while out of town working .Wuss states in NE , RI and CT have laws of no more than 3 inch blades for carry and any stiletto no more than 1.5 inch! What!

One of the best EVER!
I just got this in the mail from BUDK and it is my favorite knife yet. It's a good length, sturdy and intimidating.
Sandwich design doesn't matter, because it's still reliable and sharp as a razor out the package.
I have the Micarta Stiletto also. I usually carry both, though.
I haven't had to use either besides cutting boxes at work.
But The Rampage is NICELY-PRICED and powerful.
United Cutlery makes good stuff.
Good job, BUDK, as usual.
I plan on being a lifetime customer!
Get one ASAP.

Rampage
Great all around defense knife similar to Maccata but more sturdy if I had to choose between the 2 I would definietly recommend the Rampage fortunately I could get both and carry both

I got this in the mail about a week ago, and I have to say, I love it. It springs open in the blink of an eye, and the tip of the blade is sharper than a needle. It's razor sharp and dangerous. This knife is perfect. If you are looking into it, and you have enough money, buy it. It's perfect.

Solid Stiletto
Solidly built pocket stiletto with a great feel. The blade is sharp and thick enough for tensile strength. The assisted opening mechanism works great. This is an impressive piece of hardware. Recommended.

excellent
I bought these knives for my boys and they love them. They have quit carrying their other knives and carry these instead.

Nice little shanker!
Nice pocket knife. Like other reviews and other assisted opening knives, it needs a good break in period and mild screw adjustments. Tip very pointy, blade dull and the quality of stainless is equal to the price you pay (sharpens quickly, dulls quickly). Pocket clip allows knife to live concealed deep in the pocket with nothing hanging out. Open blade is sturdy (not at all rickety). Something I will point out is that the handle is wider than you would expect (maybe 0.5") and the knife is on the heavier side. I really like it for an everyday knife, and if it gets broken, lost, or stolen. . . no biggie it was $ 12! Would definitely recommend it for an everyday knife and self defense knife if you have a limited budget. I disagree with (dwalker's review), I think that he got a defective one, in which he should have contacted BudK and asked for a replacement (I have always had great customer service with BudK and I really don't think that they would give any hassles about replacement; which is why I continue to shop BudK).

screws (again)
David McKee was dead-on in his review. The star screw popped out of mine also. It was impossible for me to find a star bit small enough to tighten it back up. I wound up putting some Lock Tite in the housing and (somewhat) tightening the screw with the point of an old pocket knife. That slowed the blade opening action, so I had to spray WD-40 into the handle around the butt of the blade. Yes, it's a cool looking knife. But caveat emptor.

screws
It's a bit of a turn-off when you get your shipment in the mail, eagerly open the package, try out the knife by flicking it open a few times, only to find one of the screws in your lap. Good feel to the knife, opens fast and looks scary enough to hold off someone, but I lost the screw in the garage looking for a tool that I don't have to get said screw back in. I super glued the remaining screws.
