KOF3241 Well, my childhood dream of owning a Red Ryder BB gun has finally come true. As a child, dear old Mom would never see her way clear to give little Jackie his own Daisy. So, bless your soul, Mom, I finally got my baby! Granted, I'm almost 70 years old, but I love my gun, and, so far, I've not shot my eye out. Love it!

Ah the good ol days
Just like the one I had when I was a kid, my son loves it! Love the real wood and the heft. It is a .177 so it is not all that dangerous, and great for DAMN, I PUT MY EYE OUT! ;-)

"Its ok, but..."
Its alright, but nostalgia only goes so far. What I like: The wood is really pretty. What I don't: Well, my fore grip was a bit chipped at the back end where it says Red Ryder. The brass band was loose. Box was in poor condition, but the rifle was fine. That I attribute to S&H, not to Daisy. I am sure its fine for a plinker, but if you are a big boy, and looking for more than a blast from the past, buy a reconditioned, break-barrel Gamo from a competitor's site. I got it for my 9 year old son. He says he likes it, so that makes it worth the purchase price. For me, meh. Im also getting him the 75th anniversary edition Red Ryder Boy's First Knife from a competitor's website.
