yes, after months of normal use (flashlight used to escort the dogs out the patio doors at late night to avoid #1 and #2 )the slider switch on this will not shut off.it turns on at top and bottom positions but struggles to locate the off position. shocker notch once found works well with low need for shocker aspects of this design
