Pewter Jomungand Necklace - Ouroboros

A child of the Norse god Loki, Jormungand, the World Serpent, is the great Ouroboros encircling the ocean, which surrounds the world. Should the “great beast” release his own tail, the world will be at an end. The serpent's body is engraved with runes upon the front reading "Jormungandr Miogarosormr," which translates to “Jormundgand the World Serpent.” Our Viking-style, antiqued Fine English pewter pendant, in the shape of the serpent-dragon biting its own tail, is also engraved with the serpent’s names in runic on both sides. The pendant is 1 4/5”x 1 9/10” and hangs from a 32” adjustable, leather thong.
