Product Description
Complete with lock picking guide and five of the most commonly used picks. Lightweight construction for easy transport.
I bought this item as a gift for my friends 16th birthday. After reading the manual for maybe 5 minutes tops, we tried picking padlocks of varying complexity. within an hour, we could pick two modern locks that you would find anywhere! This is an awesome package, you really don't need any more picks than this. The manual is an easy to understand, clear guide on pretty much anything you could possibly need to know pertaining to locks, doors, and cars. Admittedly, a lot of the stuff is EXTREMELY shady, but in some ways that really just makes it better :)

I learned to pick with this set when I was a teen now I got a new one. they are very hard it killed to metal drill bits to make a key ring hole to hold them together. a case would have been nice or pre drilled with a small key ring but they do the job

this is the first lockpicking set i ever bought. the book is really pretty good and the picks are nice, but not worth $14. i would suggest getting the more expensive ones because there are more and they are much more worth it
they do work well thogh

Great set of picks. Excellant price. Only two problems, both of which are with the book.
1. I felt that it was a little too vague.
2. It refers to several things that it says, "can be purchased from the back of this book." (page 15) there was no purchase information or fom in the back of mine. I don't know if this is just mine or not though.

Great starter set for the price. I was able to pick a practice lock after reading the instruction boooklet in under 30 seconds. Pretty cool.

very nice product the picks are good for beginners but bend easily luckily they bend back just as easily found the book to be vague and hard to understand at times but after awhile it gets its point across all i can say is dont expect instant result,4/5

This is a very nice pick set. It is an excellent choice for beginners. So far, I've been able to open practically any lock I've tried to pick.

Only 2 things kind of bothered me:
1. The picks are sturdy and all, but they can be very easily bent. But you can bend them back just as easily without decreasing the quality.

2. The instructions weren't very detailed. If gave you a general idea of how to pick locks, but I don't think it gave me enough. Luckily, I studied up on how to pick beforehand, so I already knew what to do when I got them.

Overall, I give them 4 out of 5 stars. They are excellent to learn on, but those 2 things I mentioned earlier kind of bugged me.

R. McCullough, Florida

It indeed has all the basic things you need. But warning, it has things listed in the book that "you will need" that does NOT come with the package. I recommend getting a full set, and studying the How-to's online.
