If these are used for what they are intended for, they are great, they are not for actually hitting anything(kinda sorta), but they are great for getting rhythms, and experience in reactions to certain movements. They are similar in weight & proportions to other chuku's , and are a really good training tool, especially if you are getting weary of beating yourself up. Even experienced users have lumps on their heads, that are not supposed to be there.

My son uses them regularly and they are perfect for practice his art.

This is just a SPLENDID type of practice weapon. my karate class buys these and learners train and try techniches with them before going to the actual thing. they are GREAT nunchucks for training. not for self defense, however. but for a cheap price, I've had one for YEARS from my karate class and it STILL works great! i would 100% recommend this for training.

These things are terrible the day after I bought them bam! They're broken.
