Surplus Polish MC-1 Gas Mask w/ Filter and Camo Bag

I bought one of these Polish MC-1 Gas Masks unsure of what condition it would arrive in, mine particular mask arrived in what I would refer to as well worn condition. The mask works just fine, (maintains an airtight seal when secured properly to the face) but it was dusty, the rubber has a few scratches on the surface, and the edges of the straps are somewhat frayed. Also, it's important to note that these masks were made in a variety of different sizes (1-5, If I'm not mistaken) and what size you receive is random, so it may not fit you. The mask that I received is a Size 2, which fortunately fits me, but is a bit tight around the jaw, and a Size 3 probably would have been a better fit for me. Also, please note that the filters which come with these masks are going to be expired, (even the best modern filters only have a shelf life of 20 years, and they stopped making these masks in 1990) so you'll have to buy a new filter. The description claims that they're compatible with 40mm NATO Filters, but unless they've been modified, that's incorrect, as these masks were obviously originally designed for Soviet 40mm GOST Filters, so just be aware of that when you order one.

Just received them today some were small the others were bigger overall I love them

I got three of them and each one was difficult to adjust for size but worked. missing one piece of strap that connects bottom strap to mask on one mask.

Mask itself is pretty good. Really dirty at first but cleans up easy enough. My biggest complaint is that I can't use it cause I have glasses and I can't find anywhere to get lens inserts that'll fit it

The mask I received was significantly weathered and dirty upon arrival. The rings surrounding the glass eye pieces are rusty and scratched.. and the eye pieces themselves were covered in dust and dirt. After cleaning it up, however, it doesn't look too bad.. but it has a small leak, so it wont do much for protection. If you like to collect gas masks I recommend this one, but it wont do much for saving your life.
