Product Description
This Scorpion sword cane adds a stunning new twist on the traditional sword cane design! The handle is constructed with a clear acrylic coating allowing you to see the cold cast poly resin figure of a scorpion resting inside. This sword cane features a 15 1/2" stainless steel blade that slides into the aluminum shaft.
Extremely good for the price, got it for my dad and he loves it so I'm happy not much wrong with it since a sword canes blade is supposed to be bendable anyway. Love this item

I can't stress enough how great this cane is for the money, once you put some foam at the bottom ( to eliminate the blade noise when walking from the sword). And put a sharp edge on this dual sided blade it is truly a great companion, the shaft is perfect weight for dual wielding with sword out. A++. The sword is tightly attached to handle (unlike most Chinese Cheapies). And is a perfect weight for me, with sword sheathed the large clear hardened head is more than enough to knock out your attacker without even wielding the sword, but if the situation calls for it once sharpened a very deadly weapon indeed.

This is an absolutely excellent buy! The detail, style, and toughness of this cane is amazing and was worth every penny. The only draw back was that if your over 6 feet, it maybe alittle short for you, but it is still a great buy!

Scorpion Cane
i just bought the raging scorpion sword cane and I am thrilled with it. I use a cane and this one feel's sturdy too me.It could be a little longer but I like it.

I wish the blade was full length. Still, the sturdiness of the cane was a pleasant surprise.

Nice sturdy affordable
The box was crushed by the mail. but the cane arrived in excellent shape. the blade has a slight sharp edge, and the acrylic handle and length is good. Overall the cane is a good carrying tool and an interesting conversation piece. I would recommend for first time users. Perhaps Scorpions could be positioned better in acrylic. It will do the job to help fend off an offender and cause one to rethink his possible commitment of crime towards you. it's not a quick draw sword but a timed deterant. For a sure draw down on an offender, you'll have to get one of Budk's finer push button swords.

Nice cane, But.
I bought this for my dad as a Christmas gift, the cane is sturdy, the blade is a lower quality blade but it will defend you. The scorpion in the hand was not the best, I am from Arizona and we see scorpion in all kind of items from necklaces to paper weight and this one was about the worst one I ever seen. But for the price it is an OK walking cane.

It's really cool but the blade is extremely thin and fragile. I wasn't expecting battle ready but I was expecting something a little more, tough. Overall a good cane. Very stable and the handle is a good size.

Good presentation
The Scorpion sword does bring comments from strangers as far as astetics. however my acrylic ball broke at the hilt after falling only a few inches from a table onto carpet. The blade was partly sharp, but in a fair hurry could scare off an individual bothering you. I chose not to show the sword to anyone considering what it could do. I like the cane. Just don't like the acrylic single wood screw connector at the hilt holding all together. And after it broke I still want another one but will wait to see if BUDK still wants it's customers. I did buy the Gill Hibbet hook cane stainless quick release sword and await to pick it up as soon as the Post Office opens.

the handle of the cane is a lot flatter than i had thought, i had hoped the scorpion's stinger was up as if ready to strike but it was down to the side. this wouldn't be my first choice to defend myself but it's still pretty cool. if you're over 6'1 and/or have shorter arms this might be a lil short for you.

Poor construction
I received the cane on 8 Dec 2013 and had it resting against the wall and it rolled off, fell on to a carpeted floor and the acrylic handle broke off. I noticed just a very short screw that was holding it on. The screw is way too short for the weight of the handle. I super glued it back in place bit like anything broken it probably will not ever be as strong.
