the sword is great the only thing wrong is my jem or what ever it is on the blade is scratched up a bit, but other then that a fine sword.

Sword Amazing Blade, a few scratches down by the Red Gem, other than that awsome blade. Also seemed a bit bulkier than i imagined but still all out awsome collection Addition.

At first when i saw this sword i was SO excited. And i bought it becuase I love Blood+ and the first sword from the series that this site reproduced was really good. But when i got it i was a little dissapointed. I don't know if it was from the shipping, or what, but it seemed like the sword was just thrown together...the sheath is scratched and the jewel looks like it has glue on it and a little dingy. But if you liked the first sword I think this is a good addition becuase it isn't that bad.

Good But...
Let me start this by saying this is a review of a 20 dollar blade. i wasn't expecting much but i did expect the thing to hold together. after something like 20 or so swings the grip was hand removable from the sword. after that i noticed that the tsuba is hot glued on and is not even the right size for the tang. the entire gem assembly came loose after that as though it was not glued on. the fix for this however was to take the whole tsuba and gem assembly off and JB epoxy weld the blade into the grip and then wrap and glue a new wrapping of high strength leather over the whole thing. its still a bit loose but over all i can practice with the blade now. Over all the blase itself is quite nice and will easly cut mats and water bottles with ease after a bit of sharpening as the blade came almost flat dull. the blade is the part of the whole sword i am impressed with. good weight and a very elegant shape almost like a saber and a katana had a baby.
