I do not buy knives from Pakistan but I was surprised by the fit and finish of this monster.built to use and quite intimidating a bargain at twice the price.

The description says it's 28, but the size didn't register until I received it. Wow! It's more of a short sword than a knife, in keeping with actual Khyber knives. They were intended for fighting, and this version seems suitable for doing so.

Wow, this thing is awesome! I thought it was going to be a big knife, but its definately a kind of sword and its a nice chunk of metal, it feels very sturdy in the hand, I havent chopped anything with it yet but Im sure it would hold up. A real beauty and the price is right, Im thinking about getting some for gifts.

First Law of beauty and practicality: Form follows Function, and this large knife, was first and foremost a tool of Close Quarter Combat. If you want a two-handed great-sword, buy one, but this would be best suited for the narrow fighting of say, the Khyber Pass? Think 300, a narrow opening, like a hallway or an alley. This isn't an armored man against the same. This is the perfect Camp knife/ fighting knife. Each weapon/tool has it's time and place. Look at it from that perspective and you will see the merits of such a blade. Too big for modern street carry, but perfect for when TSHTF... At this price I bought two, made a custom leather sheath with a pocket for a firestarter, and two stones to sharpen it with. Throw it over your shoulder and go!

This Khyber Knife is very impressive, I have a real Khyber knife and it is almost exact in design and function. This knife is heavy the rose wood handle scales are beautiful and the sheath is pretty good although not anything like a true Khyber sheath. On the whole I very much like this knife. Anyone that doesn't understand the nature of a Khyber knife it's easy to find the info under history of the Khyber people of north Africa. Thank you and well done BudK. Daniel of Nebraska.

This is no knife this really is a sword just like the last comment said. However the handle isn't long enough to hold with my 2 hands so I think I'll make this a project or a wall piece. I'm kind of disappointed since it's completely useless as a knife and that's why my score for the knife is low..

This is no Bowie this is a sword. Its huge and heavy. Very blade heavy came fairly sharp. Nice handle fits my average sized hand well. I wouldn't want to swing this long its nice but I really cant think of an application except to just chop stuff. With its weight if you spent some time refining the edge you could easily take limbs off.
