I actually had one of these for several years, to this day im suprised how practical this sword was comparatively to the 30 dollar swords you see all over the place. definitely not to flashy by any means but for a practical starter sword why not? the cord will come off after a few months and the sheath will start to seperate but literally 12 years later i still have it.

This sword was great! No mess ups at all, pristine weight, though cardboard shavings were everywhere it was overall good.

good blade, quite sharp, only problem, when i was checking it out, i tugged on the little handle tassle thing, and it just broke right off. but that's no problem, it has no purpose. still happy

Damn thing broke.
blade was ok for awhile but snapped at the hilt... good buy and good for decoration, bad for functionality. overall it left me with spare parts to make my own sword... buy it. just remember to be careful with it

Amazing, this is my first sword and im impressed! The blade was longer than I thought, but thats a plus, all around a good sword to start a collection with! Even my dad was impressed!

all in all, this was a good buy.
it fits tightly in the sheath, and it seems pretty sturdy. it didnt come paticularly sharp, but thats easy to fix. there are a few small defects in the blade, but they are hardly noticeable. i personally would have paid more for this,so at $10, its a steal.

Just opened this to day and i was impressed and not impressed with some things. It was decent quality for only $10, but nothing special. definantly get what you pay for. Blade isn't perfectly straight and has some smuges on it. hand guard isn't centered well. blade isn't sharp but wasn't expecting it to be, if you want it sharper the sharpen it. It is a sturdy blade though. Strong and sturdy is how it feels. holding it makes you feel that much more powerful. for only 10 dollars you can't go wrong.

Really nice blade fore the price.Lil dull but still sharp enough to cut with some pressurer behind it but ima sharpen it so no bigge there.the overall look is better than the picture and the weight feels nice in one hand(maybe i shoulda got 2 ^^)no real downsides to the blade. The sheath however seems to have some sorta black residue that i have to wipe off the blade everytime i pull out ,this really is my only problem however i will probaly get a dispaly for this and show as naked blade on wall.all in all a good buy for the price

Amazing deal!! One minor bend in the blade, and the hand guard has a minor imperfection, but for ten bucks i'm completely satisfied. Quite sharp and sturdy. Very happy with sword.

its $10.00, so, you can't really complain, the strap broke, but i don't really care, and all the winds kinda moved out of place...and if you really had to, it would kill someone, but we hope no one ever gets there...

This sword is a great buy! I do agree the sheath and wrapping quality is bad but over all I love my new sword! I am definitely buying from here more often! and yes the shipping was fast! Make sure someone will be home to take in the package though cause they left it at the front door. When I got home I was like so releived that it was still there. LOL! I also love the kunai off here my friend used to order for me but now i order my own self. The bokkens are magnificent too!

This is a really fun sword, other than the fact that i cut myself on the guard twice be warned the guard is as dangerous as the blade! I slashed up the box that my stuff came in about 2 seconds. this is a good deal and if u do break it pay 10 bucks and get a new one.

This Sword is a definate must buy..
The sheath is really cheap and you could tell right when you pick it up but the sword is preety sturdy.
There was no loose cloth.
The blade was secure and very fun to swing around
And if the sword breaks you only have to pay 10 dollars to replace it :D

Awesome sword! For being so cheap it is very well made, big thick blade, good length. More then worth the 10 bucks.
R.D

its less than $10, what do you really expect? For the price, its really not bad at all. its a decent looking sword with a pretty decent looking blade that surprisingly doesn't feel like its going to break. The sharpest thing about this sword is the points on the guard which is shaped like a rounded hexagon. the handle does feel a little thick but not too bad. The sheet is pretty much garbage, its just thin cardboard-like plywood that's rather large for the sword. The rapping around the sword and the sheath is actually nice looking. I actually think the materials cost more that the sword itself does. again, it cost less than $10 so dont expect to get Excalibur. If it cost any more then I'd have all sorts of stuff I could complain about, but it doesnt.

I was extremely pleased with this weapon. This is the perfect sword with which to practice my kendo style training. Its low cost yet durable blade make this the ultimate sword for practical combat usage. I plan to purchase the Black Ninja Katana of Stealth Attack as well, seeing as how reliable the red version is.

Just got this sword right now opened it and noticed that the copper pieces or whatever had pretty big rust spots or whateveron it is on it and that the sword doesn't go into the sheath all the way it sticks out about an inch but for the price its still a great sword

not the best blade out there (of course its only $10 so really cant complain) im going to list the things of noticed about it so far tho
-the screw on handles comes off even if your just swing it around
-the shoulder strap brakes really fast noticed after it did this that it was stapled together
-the blade handle raping slides down the handle
-the blade is good and strong spared with a tempered steal blade and theres very few marks in this blade
-the wooden part of the handle is good
-and my personal favoret (im not lying about this ether) the hand guard with out being sharpened can double as a ninja star if taken off
all and all its good blade and should be bought for starters or experienced swords men/women

this sword is very good. however, the stealth is made of wood covered in cloth. but the product itself is very well crafted and about 12 - 13 lbs.

this was the first sword I bought off budk, its good... for show, wasn't quite sharp but overall it was good and i loved the sheath i got with it. there was another problem tho i had problem getting the sword out because of its length, also the cord attached to the sheath was to small to actually carry the sword, but overall it was a good buy

This sword rocks and comes packaged well but the only things (2) wrong are 1) the blade isn't sharp right out, nothing big, and 2) the provided scabbard scratches my sword's blade. I would recommend a different scabbard or just display the sword. I myself will use my sword to cut inanimate objects in half. All in all, it's a great sword.

very good sword.i recomend it 4 anyone starting a new collection, especially considering the price.just one thing...the cloth on the scabbard seems a little sloppy D:

I bought this knowing it wasn't going to be very good quality, being the price it is, so just know that you shouldn't get this thinking you'll be able to chop anything up with it. Looks great, and the only problem I had with it was the strap broke, but I got it just for looks anyways.

For the price, an excellent sword, nice weight and looks really good...May not be real durable so I wouldnt do to much with it...But all in all a good buy....

I bought this sword about a week and a half ago, and I am very satisfied with it. It has a very sturdy construction, and it is also pretty well balanced. My only complaints are several noticeable scratches on the guard, knicks in the back part of the blade, and the 4th time I swung it, the wrapping on the handle fell apart. I didn't swing it hard either, it was just glued on. One last thing, the scabbard is made of cardboard and gets cardboard dust everywhere. Other than those few things, I was very happy to get a sword of the quality for only 10.00.

I bought about 7 of these for my friends; very nice sword for such a low price! Great for training or just mounting on a wall.

Well this was my second purchase along with a spring assist knife and this was not that bad. There were a few things about it i didnt like for example, the sheath always leaves a trail of wood on the blade when taking out the blade, the blade always fall out of the sheath, and there was a scratch on the blade that is obviously noticeable. Not bad and not to good. If you want something for a cosplay or just for show, this is your blade.

Nice blade but the handle wrap comes undone easy. Good for decoration or costume parties, not much else . 3 out of 5 stars

(3 out of 5)
Long heavey straight stainless blade, not well balanced. Composite wood handle fits on spot welded steel rod with only 1 inch of solid tang. It appears the handle is simply drilled out as opposed to milled or machined leaving the blade lots of room to move. It can be held tightly by the oval end cap, screw on plate. The nut with tassle is only decorative. Don't be swinging this one around. Wrapping is fall off ready and sheath is poor. I'd give it a better rating but I really just dont like the look of it out of the box (if it had come in a box.) no loss for 12.99 but just hang it on a wall and look at it. There are much better buys on Budk than this.

This sword was worth the ten bucks... but that was it. It does not stay in the sheath, it falls out very easy. The strap broke within the first week. The blade itself is thicker then i thought it would be. My main problem with it, which i guess is a small problem. It says handcrafted Pakistan stainless on the blade. It is fairly heavy and looks nice. If you plan to use this i would not recommend it. The guard is very spikey and can hurt if you touch it the wrong way. It can really hurt someone still in the blade, accidently, which is a bad. the pattern is nice but starts coming apart and getting out of place fast.

Overall, GREAT for hanging up against the wall where people can see it. But it is not a good sword for much anything else. However, 10 bucks for this blade, was worth it, just have to be careful with it, little more so then other blades.

the red sun is in over all is just for training.the handle is loose some what and from the look it was not meant to be taken apart to fixed.also if you were looking to hang it from your back it is just a bit to long.all in all this sword is great for any ninja weapon lover keep sake but that is about it.

It's a sword for $10 bucks, what do you expect? I bought it, I like it, and it looks cool. I like the weight and length. However, as another reviewer said; it's more like a costume sword made from steel instead of plastic. It did not arrive "sharpened" by my definition, but I can take care of that. Looking down the spine, the blade is noticeably warped/bent. The strap on the scabbard broke almost immediately the first time I put it over my shoulder. I can fix all these issues and will enjoy doing so. I may even replace the thin/flimsy brass hand guard. Bottom line is: It's a cheap sword. :)

the sheath isn't very good nor is the strap that holds the it all. but the blade it self is pretty durable. not bad for a gift though.

First time buying off this site, and this sword is pretty good, not sharp though, and i dont like the sheath at all, the tassel fell off right away. The blade turns in the handel, which is annoying, BUT all in all EASILY worth more than 20 bucks and you can get this for ten. delivered in less than two days. buying another one for my friend

the sword looks awsom but not that sharp i couldnt even cut a branch in one swing it took a couple of swings to cut the branch but for this price i guess thats what you get

When I received this sword the tassel on the handle look like those troll dolls hair, the handle was twisted from not being tightened down completely and worst of all when the sword is pushed fully into the sheath the blade sticks out the other end!!! While the first two are minor inconveniences the last one is unbelievable! I have bought a lot of things from Budk and have been very satisfied with the quality of what I have bought. I was very disappointed in this sword.

The scabbard does not work at all in any way. The blade in of itself is flimsy. it is sharp however yet still some sharpening would help. The lacing is terrible. It is everything you would expect from a 9 dollar sword. I would buy this one as a gift for a lil kid or to use as dispendables and have fun whacking it against other swords, i mean it is cheap enough to buy two to spar. it can get sharp enough to cut things. So this would be the sword to use if you have multiple swords and you dont want to mess up those other swords but have a really strong us to chop things up. 2 stars for quality rating. Just quality rating.

Though it was not as sharpened as I had hoped and the end tassel had most of the strings cut, also the hand guard was chipped, for 9.99 it's not a bad item to hang in one's room for decoration.
