This is a great sword for anything you need it for. Very strong blade and confortable handle. This is also a great sword for zombies lol....

A really beautiful sword. The blade looks great. A few smudges when it arrived but a nice cleaning did it some good. Very sturdy even though its a bit heavy but still worth every penny.

Great sword. New to katanas? get this sword then, it is perfect for experts and beginners alike, just sharp enough, not razor nor dull. amazing overall.

Sweet this should go great with a straight wakizashi i found in st augustine, though its a bit of a mystery its a battle rdy, edge'd with a similar handle to this blade(which i really favor by the way) it has a circle with a three bladed shuriken on the scabbard theres somthing written on the blade (naturally i cant read it) the crossgaurd is unadorned black, seems to be metal with a red handle? the sword is like i said a straight battle rdy ninja seeming wakizashi primary colours seem to be black and gold save for the handle with somthing written on the left side of the blade could someone identify this sword for me?! And the sword of war is awsome!!

I love this sword. I have been collecting for awhile now and I decided to finally get a full tang katana. But there was two guide lines for the one I was looking for. I did not want to spend a lot of money and it had to have a wood handle. This sword was perfect for what I was looking for. For $35 you can not get a better sword. I have a friend who is a martial artist ( black belt) and is trained in the use of a katana and he could not believe I only paid $35 for it.

Excellent sword for a begginer collector the blades not to sharp but that can be ficed but aa warning the sheath is not that great the gold fittings fall of easy so i would advise you to hot glue them to the sheath but all in all a superb blade to start with or just add to your collection and the handle is very sturdy for a wooden piece i give it a 5 star BUY IT!!!

///Austin///

The sword is nice to look at. Bought it for my buddy. But i looked at it and was disapointed but hey its a nice sword for the price. came dull. Havent tested the full tang. I can make it full tang if i break it. So only 3 stars from me.

Awesome sword, great durability and design, strong handle but the sword's scabbard does seem sort of cheaply made, has no effect on the sword itself.

Bought this on Sun. shipped on Mon and arrived on Wed. Pretty fast. It had a nice grip but on the hilt, it has some reddish scratches on it. At the tip of the blade, it was uneven. Now for the blade itself. Wasnt that sharp. I requested that it be sharpen but due to some issue they couldnt. I dont mind it because I will do it myself but I would have prefer it if they send it sharpen. Havent really "tested" it since they say it was "battle ready" but i might later on. Maybe on bamboo. Thats what they are usually tested on in those day back then. 2.5 in to 4 in would be best.

when I first saw this sword, my reaction was one word, "Wow". After buying it, I read the review from Forrest Delikowski, saying that the bladde is extremly bendable, so I had doubts about this sword. When I got it, however, I saw that is was even more beautiful than in the picture, and yes, the blade bends, but only a little. Plus, a more ridgid blade would be more likly to break. However, I would still not recomend it for battle, though, it is pretty sturdy. Makes a great display sword though. Very beautiful.

Overall a pretty good buy. The only problem is the fact that the metal is extremly bendable, i can literally bend the sword by swinging it enough.

Not to mention all the loose pieces that fall off, could be fixed with some gorrilla glue i guess. Not at all to be used for cutting mats, maybe just swinging around if you want to pretend your good at fighting with swords.

I did get alot of use out of it, its great for training before stepping up to swords that can actually cut you, and i can for sure say its worth the small price, just don't go out chopping trees or anything with it...

This is a nice looking sword. A steal at 35 bucks. Its really well put together. The blade is semi-sharp at best. This sword is about as full tang as you can get. Its a nice collection piece.

My sword just arrived today. I agree with several reviews- THIS SWORD IS NOT SHARP!!!!!!!! But for the price and it being a full tang, its worth it. I just recently started a nice sword collection, and the workmanship is just as good as a high priced musashi sword recently purchased. Also, on the kashira (end of handle), it was scratched and chipped. But again, for the price can't beat it. PS....... Could be sharpened but it is still a high end display, light cutting weapon. Enjoy it....

This swords is great for the price. Not the best because the blade can wobble at times and the sheath can get caught. But if you're just starting out this is for you.

Its nice and all but not really battle ready, its dull...
Steven Lecroy Oct 24, 2011 (3 out of 5)
I just open up my sword its nice but for a battle ready sword it dull like a butter knife made for it to be a Japanese sword its funny how its made in China love the weight and the way its silent when you swing it its unlike most ive had over the years
Jonathan O'Leary Oct 28, 2007 (3 out of 5)
Its a nice sword, pointed, not sharp though....definatly not for hitting stuff with. the gold ends for the sheath can come off too easily
