Product Description
This Snakeskin katana sword will strike you like a viper! The snakelike skin covering on the hilt and scabbard will make you feel like you have a live rattler in your hand! Measuring 39 5/8" in length, this katana features a 25 7/8" stainless steel blade with a black anodized finish. The hardwood handle provides a tight grip and the cast metal guard and pommel sport a brass finish.
Such a beautiful sword and vary sturdy, after a few swings at some targets i inspected the blade and it wasn't dented to much and had a strong setting in the handle still so i was vary pleased with this buy.

BEST KATANA I OWN
i love BudK and when i bought this katana i love it even more. to show someone this sword it will defiantly start a conversation and even better that its only 15$! it is RAZOR sharp out of the box but like the reviews the snakeskin will peel off for overuse but still my absolute favorite THANKS BUDK!

Better than a 3 set
As you can find on BUDK, there is this and a 3 set. Well, I got this and it's better than a 3 set. Why? Well, the longest sword on the 3 set is shorted by almost 2 inches that this one, and it still costs 3X more. This katana feels odd at first but it easily will bring up some talkers

Loved it
The picture does not do justice to this sword!! It is absolutely beautiful!!! The blade is a little flimsy, But I didn't pay $200 for the thing either (LOL). It looks soooo good in my collection! And, I can't say enough for how fast it was delivered after ordering! I have dealt with Bud K for several years, and in my opinion, they are top notch!!!

Not Bad
So not what I expected but for the price its a great deal. Took a little bit of work to sharpen and the handles a little loose but other than that I have no complaints. I will be buying more. Editor's Note: Thank you for your comments. We have updated the review to reflect the appropriate spelling.

Snakeskin Katana
I collect knives and swords for a hobby and i think this Katana is a great deal for the price. The only thing i didn't like is that the snakeskin like material tends to peel off if under lots of use. It is defiantly a "display sword"

Good decor
Sword came in great time. Budk is the best! As far as the sword itself I don't think it could slice a piece of fruit. But it's pretty decoration for sure. St that price I'd say go for it!

It needs to be sharper when shipped other than that great looking sword

It's okay
I received this as a gift. The handle did turn loose. And it wasn't sharp. The handle can be fixed by popping off the butt of the sword and tightening the nut. Other than that it seemed fairly heavy, but then again I've never really owned a katana before so perhaps that's just me. Your could sharpen it a bit but i'd advice not striking anything hard because it's threaded.
