Product Description
With sturdy full-tang construction, this Musha samurai katana sword is a fully functional work of art featuring a 27-1/2" high carbon steel blade complete with a fuller groove. It comes to you sharp right out of the box. The handle is encased in ray skin and wrapped in decorative cords. The cast tsuba has an antique finish with an attractive dragon strike design. Other authentic accents include a cast menuki and kashira. The brass habaki adds a splash of elegance, and a hand-painted scabbard completes the design.

I received my hyruu as it's called from musashi just now and must say it is exceptional!! I've collected and trained with swords for over 20 years and this is a work of art truly. Now to all you collectors. The spirit of bushido does not awaken by striking your sword "a living extension of your soul" against various trees and metal and hack n slash items it is awakened by cleaving flesh so if you truly wish to test your blades wrap a steak around a broom handle otherwise for larger things by a damn ax. Katanas are meant as works of art and family treasures not cutting firewood. Care for her and she will stay beautiful, misuse her and she will turn from you in time of need.

Just got this beautiful sword today. It exceeds all my expectations and those pictures don't do it justice! Not a single loose component in it, everything is sturdy and its sharper than I expected.

I was very excited about this sword. I've had rat tail tang display swords before and this is my first Full tang sword. It came nicely packaged in a box with a light sword bag. Everything about it feels very solid. There is a little wiggle here and there but nothing that affects the use. The blade looks very nice for the price, the grip is perfect. For the price, I don't think you could find anything better anywhere. When I first got it out, I tried the classic "water bottle" test, which it failed. So I took a couple minutes and sharpened it up. After that, it went through about half an hour of perfect bottle and cardboard cutting. Excellent. Would have kept going but the grip held so well, I almost got a blister and decided to give it a rest. Highly recommend this one!

I got the right sword at the right price. This katana is a beast. I cut through many things wonderfully and as you could see on youtube, a dude was cutting with this sword and you'll be happy with his results. It came in 3 days. It is my first katana. Remember to clean it as soon as you get it (oil) and don't cut yourself. Some sharpening would be good. Also keep in mind that the saya will chip if you bang it on some things (it was an accident!), but it is barely noticeable if you use shoe polish to clean it and shine it. I am very please with this product and I will come back soon.

a exelent sword i love it but i wont lie. i am not sure but i think once in a while if u swing it a certain way it the tang, which is full shifts a small bt. but i can be sure and it is probbalb y just mine also there was a a very very small nick in the bldae towards the tip. but if u want a function katana get this! it is probbalb the best katana under 100 dollars.

An amazing sword for an amazing price. There is no way i paid 54.99 for this, it could easily be sold for double the price. No scratches, sharp, sturdy, quick delivery, great price what more do you want? The only problem you'll have is wondering what sword to buy next. buy this sword... now!

This is my first katana, and I'm very happy with it. It is very sharp, and can cut through water bottles with ease.

It's very shiny and sturdy. It does not shake at all when you move it and stuff. It does make some noise when it's in the saya, but that doesnt matter. You can shake the saya for a minute and it won't fall out.

If you want a good katana for under 80 dollars, buy this or another musashi katana. Musashi makes the best low priced katanas.

This is my first Katana, and my first sword ever. I didn't know what to expect, but this blade did not phase me. The blade is sharp, but it isn't nearly "razor sharp." The detail on the tsuba is very nice, and the sword fits very well into the saya. This blade is beautiful, and truly a must-buy for any beginner looking for a decent katana under $100. I recommend this to all. I will definitely be returning to buy my swords here in the future.
