Product Description
This Bushido Musashi Natural Wooden Shirasaya sword brings a hand-forged, high-carbon blade into a no frills shirasaya sword form. The 27" high-carbon steel blade is hand-forged by skilled swordsmiths from the ancient town of Longquan. The blade is fullered to reduce weight and increase the speed of handling, but not so much as to reduce the integrity of the sword. A matching hardwood scabbard completes this simple, yet beautiful, functional work of art.
WOW))). this sword is awesome as hell. Lite, stunning finish on the blade, nice glossy finish on both the Saya and Tsuka. Very beautiful to look at and to use. Very sharp as well.

Got this as a gift for my sister, who also loves katana blades. she love this for sure.

Its a little tight pulling the blade out but can be easily handled.

Great Buy.

What an awesome sword. came sharp as a razor, the sword is high quality it fits nice and tight you can litererally use it as a cane and it will stay together until you draw the sword out. Such an amazing sword. The laquered wood is amazing and shiny. This was my first musashi purchase and i am glad i got it. Love it!!

Beautiful blade, worth every dollar and more. I haven't found any large flaws yet accept for the sheath being slightly more on the tight side then i like but thats no biggie.
All in All its a perfect blade 5.5/5

This is an extremely well built katana. The quality is quite excellent considering the price and appears about three times as much. As many have commented, the sword is very hard to remove from the saya or scabbard when it first came out of the box. This is easily remedied by a little bit of filing using an emery board or by using sand paper wrapped around a popsicle stick. I sanded a bit of the inside of the saya so that the sword would fit precisely and snugly, but not overly tight. I also sanded a bit of the meguki or peg because it was sticking up a bit. The quality of the blade geometry is quite excellent with a perfect center line running through the entire back of the spine of the blade. The quality of the blade is simply impressive. All in all, I am very happy with this sword. I just wished that I had ordered 2 of them.

This was a good purchase. It is a very sturdy sharp sword if not a little heavier than expected. The shipping time was amazing. I had my swords in less than 24 hours. how is that even possible?

Beautiful sword
Ive had this sword for a few days, the pin for the handle is glued in, the blade had print on it, the metal itself scratches with ease, the habaki come very loose after drawing it more than once or twice, over all its more of a show sword than battle ready, its beautiful, but also fragile

Got this today. The blade has a nice shape and weight though I thought it would be a real hamon, turns out it's etched.

I was a little disappointed in the wood though, the handle and saya are totally different colors, the menuki is loose and pushes out with my finger. The wood has several obvious repairs and you can see filler in places.

On the other hand it cuts cardboard nicely and I can sand it down, re-stain and re-lacquer since it is real wood.

Sokay for the price, not as amazing as I thought based on other reviews.

Got this sword a while back. It came very sharp and clean. have no serious problems with it accept that it wabbles because of the design. It has a single pin construction. But I would bet my life on its ability to cut.
