Product Description
The Black Ronin Ninja Sword is named after the rogue samurai warriors who wandered without a master throughout Japan. This item measures a 27 1/8" long and features a 17 1/8" full tang blade constructed from tempered 420 stainless steel with coated non-glare black finish. The grip is traditionally hand-wrapped and tied with black nylon cord. This sword also includes a fiber-reinforced nylon sheath with lashing grommets and fully adjustable nylon shoulder and leg straps.
Didn’t come too sharp but i didn’t get it to cut I got it through one of the $10 dollar deals. It’s a nice sword but the handle wasn’t on very well. It kept sliding and I was worried it would fall off so I unwrapped it and put supper glue on it as I rewrapped it. It doesn’t look as pretty but It feels a lot better and the handle is solid. I’m verry happy

Love this sword
Not a big fan of swords but when I saw this one, I had to have it. This short sword is perfect as a machete, knife or combat weapon. It comes with a handy hard plastic sheath with holes for lacing onto a bug out bag and belt loop as well. Full tang blade wrapped in ray skin and a nylon cord is one cool sword.

Great camp sword
definately worthy of 5 stars especially for the money, I bought another one of these because I use the first one I bought for camping and its got some wear on it and I wanted to keep an extra one in mint condition. These things are great, a nice thick piece of steel, no frills cord wrapped handle, perfect for a knock around sword for camping and general use. I definately would recomend this to a friend. Too bad they no longer let me post reviews because I gave a couple crappy reviews where crappy reviews were due.

I have one of these and in all honesty the handle is crap, cause the wrapping keeps coming lose. It would be better if it had a rubber handle molded to it or something like that.

Great Sword
Awesome Sword. Plain and Simple. Got in 5 days. Only downside was the Straps for the case. All in all the best sword for the price.

Sweet Sword
I think this is an awesome sword. In my opinion, this is possibly the best sword out there for 20 dollars. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great sword. The only downside is that the sword is a little too short for me. BUDK should have made it an 30 inch sword. Other than that, this is the perfect sword.

Good Sword
I bought this sword about 2 or 3 years ago, and used it extensively for the first year, it stayed sharp for a long time, and it hasn't broken yet. It is very easy to sharpen due to its design and very easy to handle, the only problem I have had is the para-cord wrapping on the handle started falling off within the first 3 to 4 months of use, also the scabbard broke around where the straps were, but was still usable. It also came very dull. Overall a great product for a great price, definitely worth the money.

Decent
I've had this Blade for just under two years now. When I first recieved it I had to Sharpen, re-wrap the handle a few times in different ways. That's it, Took the first two days to get it perfect. used a steadied grind stone to sharpen and a tough leather belt to finish it off. The only thing I cut into is Cardboard. The real thick kind though. Not the thin wobbly stuff. I love it, I also train with it sometimes just for the h**l of it. And btw, To those purchasing this sword, This is 420 stainless steel. Not 4120 Carbon steel. Don't go chopping up rocks and car doors with this. I'd say at best a tree limb. It is most definitely Full-Tang though. So you don't have to worry about how hard you swing it. It won't break. Believe me... I've missed and hit my garage concrete. There isn't even a single nick on the blade other than the finish coming off from so much cardboard. easy to sharpen, hard to break, hard to dull. If you want a simple yet affective sword I'd vouch for this one. I have a small collection of about 10 swords all from BUDK, and I almost never use the others swords I always go right to this one.

Good not great
The sword is nice and is definitely full tang. The only issue I see is how thin it is. I'm not sure how much chopping you could actually do before it snaps, but other than that it is a nice blade.

Good value
Great value. Well balanced. Once sharpened, works well. Great size/weight for a BOB or backpack. My only complaint is that the paracord wrapping was too loose.

Get What you pay for
Got this as a gift from my Woman cause I told her if she got a sword to get full tang. I gotta say that it was BETTER than I expected, but average at best. 420 Stainless is NOT the best metal for impact weapons, maybe they celebrate 420 over at the factory that chose this metal though... That would explain some things. 4140 carbon steel is the best, not 420 or any stainless for swords. I Thrashed on this thing cause I never liked it and it did surprise me. I intentionally used it as an axe and machete, and it has only bent a little. The reason I mistreated it is cause I never liked or trusted it and I put everything I had into abusing it and it still remains functional, if a little bent, but would I recommend this for a fight? Heck no. You gotta pay about $50 more for a REAL fighting grade sword like my Shinwa $130 or hanwei $199. Blade has average sharpness, and average durability, if not a little uneven now, and the reason im writing this is so you will know that this sword would only have ever been good 600 years ago. This has no place among a real fighting grade swordsman's collection, but I did throw it in my truck box so as to continue misusing it. AVERAGE. User discretion advised.
