United Black Swords
The Yoru Doragon Wakizashi is one of the finest swords you could buy, especially for the price. The cord that is wrapped around the scabbard is a poly type cord,it is best when using this type of cord to melt permanent knots so they won't come undone. What surprises me is the tang is Damascus steel, that is very unusual, normally on Damascus swords the tang is just a hard steel,it takes a lot of time and effort to make Damascus,so it's not generally used or waisted on tangs, this goes for knifes as well.Overall the Yoru Doragon Wakizashi,Katana, and Tanto, are excellent swords to be sure.I wouldn't worry about oil, clean it off,use a lite oil or wax. Take care of your sword if you use it,like anything else it needs to be maintained and repaired.Thank you your friend Daniel of Nebraska.

Not a Wakizashi
I bougt this a few years ago firstly its a Kokatana (a shoter version of a katana) I love the sword I call it my baby of my collection but the sheath's clear coat was chipped a little and began to peal off. But other than that it is a dream.
