Love it Reviewed by Kurt MORGAN on Jul 16, 2016   5 out of 5

People bad mouth ridge runner for some reason....I've been happy with everything I've gotten from them. It's like people who say "this $40 tablet doesn't do what my iPad does" well yea...this knife is dirt cheap and awesome for the price. Far bigger than anticipated...I used it at work today and it worked great. It's quite sturdy and hefty in feel. It's great. In short...if you're going to survive in the Amazon...maybe get a Ka-bar or gerber for 100 bucks...if you want a 4 dollar knife that's worth three times the price...this is the knife for you.

Great all around outdoor knife for the price Reviewed by Jose on Jun 26, 2015   5 out of 5

Love this knife. The big bulky handle is comfortable in my hand. Mine was pretty dull out the box But about ten minutes on a stone and problem solved. The blade is thick and sharpened up very well. The gut hook was very sharp out the box. Very. Used my knife to clean/gut fish and cut bait A few times. Very comfortable to work with and washes off well. Definitely recommend.

This is a solid knife, but much larger and bulkier than I anticipated from the picture. Have not had much opportunity to use it, but seems like it will be durable.

This is a great folder. The stainless blade is quite thick and came with a pretty sharp edge and point. The skinning/gutting blade is a nice feature and is razor sharp! I use it for cutting thick, commercial-grade plastic wrap at work - the hook slices through it like butter! I also really like the thick, rubberized grip. It feels very secure in my hand. The only downsides are that the knife is a bit large for my pockets and the rubber can rip off at the top seam if one is too rough with it. Overall, this is one of my favorite folders and I will definitely buy again!

Bought 2 of these knifes after reading Excellent reviews! Carried 1 on me for a couple of days! Went to use one, just cutting up boxes to put in trash, opened steel body of knife came out of rubber handle! Don't think rubber cement good enough glue for this application? Glue wiped off knife and grip a little to easy. Don't think I would have got to far gutting a Deer, with this knife. Hey!!! you asked!!! Thank you! Got some nice knifes from BUD K!, But also got some bad ones. And I buy a lot!!!

This knife is excellent. Very heavy-duty. Rubber grip handle is super thick. Like a hockey puck. You should get one for every member of your crew. One drawback .... thumb stud is right-hand only.
