Ridge Runner got it right with this tactical pocket knife. It's sleek and powerful, and its compact size makes it a great everyday-carry. The tactical knife features a razor sharp 3" stainless steel blade with serrations. A sturdy ABS handle with rubber inlays ensures a secure and comfortable grip. A stainless steel pocket clip lets you just clip and go. Measures 4" closed.
This is my first item I bought and I love it . The 2nd item is a bamboo keychain love it also, going to order again soon.
I carried this knife for a couple of years. Not high quality, but it's not trash. Did the job for general light use. If you don't have a lot of money, it'll do for you. I've got better ones now, but I still use these. Tossed one in a bag, a toolbox, a fishing kit. For the price you get a decent knife you're not afraid to lose or break.
Bought this for my wife . Great lite purse knife . Easy smooth opening. One handed operation is perfect for Quick access .
I have owned this knife in the past a few times. Back then, a pawn shop was selling this knife so I bought one. It fell apart on me after having it a few months, so I bought another. I used to carry it everywhere I went because the town I lived in was bad and getting worse. This knife was pretty handy, especially on my trips to Boston.
I bought three of these knifes to put the vehicles. They are obviously not heavy duty knifes, not really the best choice for your daily user but it is a good light weight sharp knife to use. These knifes are easily tightened keep in mind if you tighten the screws you make it harder for the knife to open. The price is cheap and the quality is not bad I wouldn't pay more then a buck or two for these guys.
This is a light-duty knife, like many before have said. Opening packages, slicing tape, cutting cord/rope, etc. Small and lightweight so easy to slip into your pocket and forget until you need it. Easy to deploy, blade is quite sharp out of the box, can be sharpened further with minimal effort. For $2, you get way more than your money's worth from this. I bought several and stashed one wherever a good utility knife could come in handy...junk drawer, center console of truck, here and there.
I got my two dollars worth out of this thing a long time ago. You can loosen the pivot screw for a fast deploy, or keep it tighter for more side-2-side stability. Nice styling, good grip, good weight, and good guard...I can't get past the complaints about a $2 knife that could save your biscuits in a bad situation. Get a dozen.
For $2.00 it's not bad. Blade was little lose, just tighten the screw on the pocket clip your ready to go. Will be used to open my Budk shipments.
This knife may look cheep and nasty BUT its NOT it holds up good is great for working with cuts through almost anything. I think BUDK messed up by selling this knife so cheep.
Light weight utility knife that works great for many circumstances. Recommend it highly to all my customers.
Thought I would get a cheap throwaway, but was extremely surprised. Great knife for the price. Just a good everyday pocket knife, solid, lite and good sturdy blade. Ended up buying three more for friends. As usual BUDK delivered again.
I spent it on this great little knife for work. I need several different Just for work! I have a habit of pummeling schtuff at work with my knives and, This is a good knife for the two dollars. 2 months, still sharp. Seems to be ABS plastic so, it should last well beyond the cost! This one is for dress! And, has the same body in silver and stainless finish blade
Great item for gift, Christmas, also had initials put on the knife for the receiver.
Why this knife was given bad reviews is/ was a diservice to me. Do-dos! It is a great knife, I bought five, tested all, they lock and cut fine. I am buying more. And thanks for the super fast free shipping and very well packaged boxes. Merry Christmas!
I have bought several knives from you. I feel this is the best light weight pocket knife a person could carry. As you can see I have bought several to give out at Christmas.
Great utility tool. You can't purchase a throw away utility knife for this price. I have purchased 12 or more. We cut, pry, scrape caulking. Very sharp to start and holds a edge well. Great product for the price. If we loose them we havent lost much.
Im a retailer and my costomers and i love this knife, very light weight nice handle. over all very nice knife for the price.
This knife is the most 'bang for the buck'. It is high quality and a bargain price. The ability to open it with one hand is great when working on those two-handed projects. Makes a super gift.
It is a wonderful lite easy to carry pocket knife and a real every day work knife. I've bought over a dozen so far. Given them to friends and family and use mine all day long to open feed sacks cut cardboard cut twine and rope strip wire more jobs than I want to list. thank you for a great value. RT Bedell
Amazing knife! A little disappointed the handle is plastic but for $2 it is fine. The blade is razor sharp and I have even clean cut a water bottle and the bottom move a couple of inches but was still full. I originally bought this to get to $20 on my order but I love this knife!
This is a GREAT everyday pocket knife. Light weight, thumb stud, pocket clip, durable and sharp. If you're looking for an assisted open pocket knife with features, then buy one of those. No problems with this great $2.00 knife that makes a great starter for younger kids.
light , sharp , pocket clip , thumb stud . this little knife has everything i'm looking for in a everyday pocket knife . i buy them 5 at a time because the kids run off with them . the price is right so it's ok with me . they are a great deal ..
This is the best deal in the lot!! I hook it on my belt loop and take it everywhere. WTG Bud K AND Ridge Runner!!!!!!
I recently bought this knife and I really like it! It was dang sharp right out of the box. I decided to carry it in my jacket pocket to have it handy. I have already showed a couple friends, plus they sure were surprised to hear how low the price was! I have bought a lot of knives from BUDK, you can't beat the prices!
I love this knife. It's not prize winner in the world of cutlery maybe , but it is very cost effective. It costs very little and it has a great deal of utility as a cutting tool. Exemplae gratis: * good stainless blade and aluminum scales * serrated half-blade for saw cuts * good size for carry * ergonomic fit to hand * light weight to carry and easy wear on pockets * THE PRICE IS RIGHT! Buy a few to cover lost or misplaced tool What else could you want/need for a Great Pocket Blade ??? Yeah, I like it.
I bought a couple of these knifes To try them out and I was pleasently surprised at the quality of this knife. It came very sharp and I love how light it is. also it is an extreamly fast knife.. It opens at the flick of the wrist. I have used this knife at work alot and it is awesome! I just bought four more to give as gifts. You will never find a better knife at this price. Thanks BUDK!
Knife looks and handles like it should cost much more than what I paid. I bought two for my sons and they both love it!
very sharp and an exelent self defense knife, although slight closing problems overall one bad a** knife
A good blade. Smooth, sterdy, good blade retention. Between work and home, the abuse and stress my knives go through, it snapped on me.
i was getting this knife because of the price, so i would have 100 even. I'm glad i picked this knife! its a great knife and for the pice is amazing! i took it to my work. i stalk and do inventory and i would recommend this! so sharp my coworker shaved his arm hair off.
Yep, The handle is pretty fat but the blade arrived very sharp and gripping the handle feels decent at best. Not as good as one of those wahoo killers, but its alright.
I was given this knife by a coworker for Christmas several years ago. I put it into a coat pocket and it has lived there since. It is great for light cutting chores: string, tape, boxes. This isn't a heavy duty survival knife but I've seen $10 knives that were much worse.
You get what u pay for but its a pretty good knife. Not heavy and the blade needed to be sharpened just a little. Overall, good knife.
Great little work knife. I can use it for anything. Not worried about breaking or losing it. As I said the price is right, I bought multiples in both silver & Black
It's a great little knife for the price. Has held a good edge so far after several uses. Light weight and fits well in hand.
Out of the 10 I bought 1 was defective. Excellent price. Excellent look. Everyone in my family is getting one of these to keep in their cars for xmas. Thanks BudK. Kill butt knife and all for under $2.
I just got my knife in the mail today, and I'm not disappointed one bit. It comes with a pretty decent edge, and it's super lightweight. For the price I'd recommend buying four of five! Throw one in the glove compartment, your toolbox, a purse... you never know when you'll need a knife.
I already had about 5 of these. On a whim, and after good advice from elsewhere regarding proper technique to close these blades, I purchased 5 or 6 more as throwaways and to have on hand. I find myself quite pleased overall. The trick for closing is to hold the blade upside down in the left hand (securely) and use the right hand index finger to slide the serrated edge of the liner lock TOWARDS YOU instead of DOWN. End of blade jams. Remember, these are still a two dollar knife but a highly functional and overall decent utility type pocket knife.Hey,I just talked myself into a few more.
this little knife is worth the $2.00 price tag, will be fine for light duty. the blade opens and locks fine, just wish the action was a little tighter.
Convenient light weight knife with belt clip. Would give five stars but the blade lock is iffy. Make sure blade is locked open before using.
Good knife for what I bought it for to give away to my customers. Some started carrying it right away and love it. Well worth the price. Will buy more in the future.
Good knife. Buy it. The liner will get caught on the other side of the knife if you flick it open. But if you just use the thumb stud it will be fine the liner gets easeir to unlock once you use it. Comes VERY sharp. The handle may be plastic but if you arnt trying to really beat it up it snhould not break. For the price its good. Im satisfied.
dug the video and the demo so i bought five especially cause the price. tried to do what they did with thee first one i picked up and it locked up and wouldn't close. cant recommend something that doesn't work.other purchases have been great hopefully its a one time fluke.
This is a very GREAT KNIFE for the price. I have been using it for a long time now and I've cut almost anything I could think of cutting because I wanted to see how long the blade would stay sharp.
The blade itself is the only good aspect of this knife, the handle is light and weak, not to mention easily broken. This is, at best, a knife for last-ditch efforts.
I am a firm believer that everyone should carry a pocket knife. I bought 6 of these for my daughters and other members of the family as purse knives. These are NOT designed for knife fighting. They are NOT for skinning out a deer. However, they will work just fine for opening packages, cutting light rope/cord, trimming a plant, etc. I suspect that, given the need and the thought process, they would also do just fine for eviscerating a would-be rapist. (Although the pepper spray they got along with the knife is probably a better choice in that situation.) As delivered, the blade was not as sharp as I would wish, but the steel is soft enough to take a really sharp edge pretty easily (which means it isn't going to hold the edge very well - but that is something they are going to have to deal with - probably by visiting me). A few minutes on each knife left an edge that took the hair off my arm. This isn't a premium, hard-core, fighting/hunting knife. But it is under two bucks. You are getting more knife than that.
Overall you really get what you pay for. I got it for an edc so im not complaining. for my purpose it serves its purpose.
This is a decent knife for a great price. I like it. It would be better though if it had a stronger locking mechanism.
I bought 2 of these knife's because the price was right, I put them around the house because it seems when I need a knife it's on the other side of the house,
Sometimes it's nice to have disposable knives around, knives that can be abused or lost and you won't worry about them. These fit that bill. They're about as bottom of the barrel as you can get, but of the four I ordered, every one came sharp and the lock worked fine on all of them. The handle is plastic, the blade is thin and they just feel cheap, but they are still fully functional knives.
I bought this knife for my young son who just earned his whittling chip. Its been a great knife for the money and being such if it gets lost it won't hurt the wallet to replace it.
Nice knife for the money, looks good a copy of S&W S.W.A.T.. Liner lock it sticky and hard to release but the blade is sharp an sturdy, a good choice to keep in garage or tool box and a good buy for under 2$, not a collector or a carry.
Good price, it works, but you get what you pay for, I would spend a little more and get a better knife
Halfway decent blade, but the handle is junk. some sort of plastic with rubber stickers on it. i used this knife for light/medium duty stuff for a year or two, it is totally destroyed. i was surprised it lasted that long. halfway decent for the price, but don't expect it to look pretty for very long.
This pocket knife was not as I expected. it has a poor handle and everytime I go to mess with it I think that Im going to break it. if you are just getting it for a collection then its good but if you are going to be using it I would not recommend this only because the handle is made of what seems to be plastic. this is the only thing I have gotten from BudK that I don't really like that I have bought.
At first glance and feel it seems like a good knife. But the blade on mine was hard to open and wobbles when opened. The materials seem good, but the knife has a cheap feel. I would never carry this for day to day use, and gave it away to a teen who thought it was cool looking. He thinks its great. I think in a year it will be in the kitchen junk drawer. TG
Not a very good knife but not bad for 2 bucks. Blade gets stuck open and takes a little effort to get back into place.
I was disappointed to find out the handle is not metal as advertised, but just plastic. Bought several of these at once. Some would not lock until they were worked in a bit. The action was very loose but after tightening the screws it got a little better. Overall. it's a $2 knife so don't expect much.
For a two dollar knife, these are not bad. My only issue is that a few of those I bought tend to lock open. Very difficult or even impossible to close. Currently, I have four of these that are OK and two I can only keep in my survival stash or in a toolbox. I would love to find at least one more that worked properly. For a two dollar throwaway, these are just barely acceptable. Just remember that you get, more or less, what you pay for.
I got one of these model knives for free off of ebay with some ebay bucks I had, and found that budk sells them too (for less than the ebay vendor.) Honestly, if you only use your knife for simple things like opening boxes at work, and you want to keep this blade at work, then it's not bad for the price. But for regular use, this thing SUCKS. The blade does not stick in the closed position at all and can easily be accidentally opened. furthermore the liner lock SUCKS on this. If you flip it open too fast (like in the video) you'll have to use pliers to get the liner lock back down so you can push it down and close the blade. The linerlock is also just a thin, cheap feeling piece of metal with some ridges. It is far less comfortable to press the linerlock mechanism than in a knife of any higher price.
The blade is fine for the price. However the screw which holds blade to plastic handle will fail. Blade screws into the plastic handle, which can strip. With any leverage applied to blade. I say pass this up for a knife with metal liners. It's on clearance for a reason. Sorry Budk however this is a fail even at 2$.
nope nope nope. Cheap plastic handle. Please don't waste your time with this. If you plan on using it to do actually work, it's not up to the task. Maybe if you pl;an on cutting tape... otherwise nope
Well let's see this sucked so bad, I got for my birthday just because I wanted to see what it would be like. I no I can't expect a good knife but seriously Budk it broke so easily
For two bucks, ok. Sharp blade. Plastic case. Blade will stick open at times and have to pry it to close. Ok for light work.
I bought this knife along side of the USMC fighting knife (KA-BAR REPLICA). The USMC knife was outstanding but this knife is trash. The lock wouldn't take whenever I opened the blade it was as if the piece of metal inside the knife was too long. Don't buy this spend an extra 5 spot and get a weapon of better quality.
