This is Nice! Reviewed by Doug on Jun 03, 2014   4 out of 5

A pleasant surprise in a classic Ridge Runner package. Jaunty Red handles are quite appealing, the fit and feel are just right and the rescue goodies are a nice addition. NOT assisted opening (a good thing) because that would cause legal hassles in some locations. Don't be turned off by the idea of a Torx screwdriver which is a good idea for the care of this variety of product. Try it! You'll like it!

Ridge Runner Tac Folder Reviewed by Bria K. on Dec 03, 2012   4 out of 5

I bought this knife for myself to keep as an emergency knife in my car. Living in cattle country and driving on narrow, endlessly winding roads I felt it was a good idea. One day my sister took my car to work and ended up over turned in the middle of a blind corner. Unable to release the seat belt she remembered I drive with the folder and cut herself free from the vehicle and walked to safety. She now drives with the same knife in her own car. A good knife to have.

Got one for Christmas. Solid, nice-looking red handle that doesn't slip easily. Easy to open. Requires a T-9 (star) bit to tighten the blade connection occasionally, but otherwise, a great knife for the price!
