Got mine from Bass Pro Reviewed by Griffin on Apr 16, 2015   5 out of 5

I got mine from bass pro shop for 5 dollars cheaper so I think I lucked out but none the less amazing machete when I lifted it up for the very first time it almost felt like a sword, I also cut stuff wth this like apples footballs and other stuff and I could not put it down for the next month (primary weapon for the zombies 😄)

This is a good beginner's machete Reviewed by Jeff on Jul 27, 2013   4 out of 5

It's great out of the package and ready to work as the other's said. I'm not a big fan of sawback machete's. Besides the "cool factor" the saw isn't something I ever use. With that being said I'd find this tobe a fine camp tool or yard hand. I'm a big fan of SOG but I'm not going off into the jungle with this one.

Sogfari 18" Reviewed by Double Dubs on Dec 21, 2010   3 out of 5

This machete is good for what it was designed for, for the most part. It can cut brush with ease and the factory edge is the sharpest I've seen. The saw on the back works well but with to much use can cause the thin blade to "warp". If you try to cut down anything with a thicker diameter than 1/2" be prepared for chunks of the blade to break off. The sheath is also of decent quality but the stitching catches on the saw part. It's worth the buy but definitely not for heavy duty work. I have to cut mine down to a bowie to make it usable again.

Great Knife, Horrible Sheath Reviewed by fatalhashbrown on Jul 26, 2010   3 out of 5

Bought this today to take with me when I go into the woods to help clear brush. Exactly what a machete was made for. It does that great. However, after a few hours of use and removing the blade from the sheath no more than 5 times, the stitching on the sheath has become completely unraveled half way down the entire length of the blade. It's not from the blade coming into contact with it, it's just poor craftsmanship. I'll be returning this one in hopes that it's replacement doesn't suffer the same fate.
