This Samurai Warrior Battle katana sword from Shinwa features a 28-1/4" blade forged of 1045 carbon steel and hand sharpened. A traditional blood groove spans the blade. The custom-designed cast iron tsuba features a thunder god theme and a brass habaki blade sleeve. The genuine ray skin handle is wrapped in pruple cord, and a high-gloss purple wooden scabbard houses the blade.

The Hand-forged Damascus 10-fold layers carbon steel blade is solid and sword sharp. The Genuine ray skin handle with silk wrappings is a plastic ray skin handle with two pegs ok. High-gloss black lacquered scabbard is very nice 40.9" overall length Nice sword worth the price to me I will try a bottle filled with gel on the edge. I give it 4 1\2 stars. Will buy from true swords again.

This was my best order I made, nothing is loss the blade is sharp everything is in place. Truly a work of art, I'm looking forward to my next purchase from TrueSwords.
