looks nice! Reviewed by Bill on Jan 02, 2015   4 out of 5

Other reviewers complained they didn't get a $100 quality knife for $20, c'mon gentlemen get realistic. Since I'm not planning to cill a bar (D BCoone 1767) with this knife I very pleased with the value.

Outstanding for the price Reviewed by Mike on Jan 09, 2014   4 out of 5

Compared to the "Kinman" bowie available from India it leaves much to be desired, but for the price it's well worth every cent. True, the edge is pretty basic, but then again, you're not charged $15.00 extra for sharpening either. As to the blade, this one is hand forged in Pakistan and is NOT stainless, so use care in rust prevention. The scabbard is much better quality than expected. There is only one complaint, in my opinion, that being the handle is too wide for a comfortable and secure grip. With a little work, this edge became and stayed, razor sharp, so for the price, this is one sweet bowie. Good job, Bud K

Disappointed Reviewed by John Allardyce on Dec 13, 2013   3 out of 5

I'm a little disappointed. This was a Christmas gift for a close friend. It is advertised as being razor-sharp. The only thing this knife will do is spread butter on bread. It is a nice looking knife and can be sharpened, but I would not have given this as a gift had I known. I'm embarrassed and was expecting more. My Timber Rattler Outlaw Bowie was a much better purchase.

excellent re-enacting tool Reviewed by Dave Fulton on Oct 31, 2013   4 out of 5

I agree with one review that the knife is not sturdy enough for HEAVY DUTY work...I dont believe it was really designed for true survival or wilderness usage...more collecting or reenacting events, but, it will cut a steak with no problems and I am sure that if needed, this knife would be MORE than able to handle the task...Very nicely made...handle is large but even with my medium sized hand it fits easily...Be Forewarned though...this is a huge knife...not something to wear casually...But, I like it...

Nice Replica Knife Reviewed by Gary on May 26, 2013   4 out of 5

This is a very nice replica of the Seth Kinman knife. Of course it's not high carbon steel, but good enough to carry to a Mountain Man get together. Not intended for anything but light use or display, but it looks great hanging from my pistol belt.

Nice Display Knife Reviewed by Danny Finnemore on May 10, 2013   3 out of 5

Would not use this knife for any work or hunting/trapping needs. Would display it or use it for self defense. I've been collecting Bowies for years and on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 6.

Hmm...not sure about this... Reviewed by John on Apr 22, 2013   3 out of 5

Like the title said...not sure what to think of this blade. Overall, it's gorgeous...huge, but light weight...and unfortunately, not in a good way like the El Paso bowie...light, as in, I bet this would bend or snap right in half if used as a pry-tool. Metal is much thinner and cheaper feeling than Outlaw or El Paso...That's not to say it wouldn't take an arm off, but it doesn't feel very full tang and if it is, it's tapered too thinly, I'm sure, to be very sturdy for chopping. Great wall hanger...will filet an intruder quite nicely, but I wouldn't bet my life on this knife.
