This Texas Sunset Bowie from Timber Rattler is one giant knife. At 16" overall, this Lonestar State special is great for chopping through small trees or cleaning big game. Its 11 1/2" 420 stainless steel blade is razor sharp and the bone handle is dyed the color of a setting Texas sun. A brass-plated pommel and guard give this knife some real class as you slide it in the included genuine leather sheath.

This is my second one and counting... Reviewed by on Nov 10, 2015   5 out of 5

I bought one of these gems a year ago and it has impressed everyone who has had the privilege of seeing and handling it. So when I saw the price drop I thought I might order another for a gift, but when it came (two days early I might add) I knew I couldn't give it away. I give them a gift card instead. This knife is a steal...especially at this price.

Great blade, lousy sheath Reviewed by Bill on Jul 14, 2014   5 out of 5

TL;DR: buy for the blade, chuck the sheath. The blade and handle on this knife- simply amazing. Fits well in the palm of my hand. Looks great, feels great. Sharp as the Dickens. I highly recommend it. The sheath, however, is...awful. Mine arrived dried out and reeking of pesticide (formaldehyde?) so bad that it can be smelled rooms over. There are metal rivets that hold it together that will scratch the blade. I'm planning on making my own.

Phenominal KNIFE!! Reviewed by GJ on Apr 07, 2014   5 out of 5

I can't really express how pleased I am with this knife. I've waited for sometime for it to become available again and it was certainly worth the wait. I judge a lot on fit and feel as well as appearance and this bowie delivers on all counts. Five stars all the way. I'm seriously thinking of another before they sell out as I'm sure they will at this price.

BIG Honkin' Hunk of Steel Reviewed by Todd on Sep 03, 2013   4 out of 5

In General I'm Pretty Impressed with this knife ! It's Big and Bad and Bold .that's for sure ! to Quote Crocodile Dundee " Now that's Knife !!!!" Fit and Finish are Very Good to Excellent especially Given the fact That This is a $20.00 knife and not some Custom Cutlers Special Delivery High Dollar specialty knife ? Perhaps I am a Picky old Fart ! If I would complain or pick on this blade about anything it would be this ! On MY knife atleast there is a moderately Deep Gouge / Groove / indentation / Recess ? on one side of the handle ? at 1st I thought the handle had Cracked and that was where a piece broke off ? But on further examination it appears to be just a natural anomaly in the dyed bone handle !I guess They just aren't making Cows or Camels ? like they used to ? Anyway in Total it doesn't affect Functioning of the knife and other rhan that it's one BAD Adze Mother !!! besides you can pass that of as a Battle Scar ? I bought This knife cause it's Closest to the Knife I want !!!! The White Bone handled Bowie that is almost the same as this one except it's White and looks like a Custom Knife with an Ivory Handle IMHO anyways ? But Budk Doesn't have that one yet so this is almost as cool !!!!

This Knife Has Both Beauty And Durability! Reviewed by Lenny S. on Feb 09, 2013   5 out of 5

How often can you find such great quality, at such a terrific price? This knife is a piece of art that is rugged, and is built to last! My eyes popped when I first opened the box! It is very solid and would make a good working knife! The sheath is halfway decent too! I love it!
