Timber Wolf Blazin' Fixed Blade Knife

I was surprised but extremely happy this knife fits perfectly in my hands great weight to it Definitely feels like German steel and the blade came with a decent edge right out the box but I just ran it through a sharpener about 10 times made a huge difference. All in all I'm really happy with this knife.

This is the best looking knife I have received from BudK. It is going straight to the display case.

Blade has some heft for its size and is pretty classy. Someone mentioned it comes razor sharp. I can attest that it true. lol. It is beautiful. Pleasantly surprised for price.

I bought this knife for my dad as a Christmas present. Came razor sharp, and lightly oiled. Got it engraved and that turned out to good too. The belt loop on the sheath could stand to be a little more snug but i still plan to buy another for myself. All things considered for a knife this great 20 bucks is a steal.

Used this knife last season to field dress a few whitetails. Perfect fit and feel and did the job extremely well, perfect size for dressing game. The knife itself is gorgeous and it hold and edge great

Probably my favorite BudK purchase so far. Don't know if the jimpping is necessary, but I have a smaller grip. Hardly get any thumb contact with it. I like the palm swell and the considerable back-end flare/weight. Pins are flush, the handle is well finished, and it's just a classy little carry for $20 or three times that. My edc.

This knife blade is thick and heavy, with a handle slightly on the thin side which gives it a sleek look with a good usable feel. It's very well put together and finished off nicely with a good quality sheath. It's also well balanced for the weight you feel in your hand when you pick it up or pull it from the sheath to put it to work. The pictures here really don't do this knife justice. It looks even nicer in person and you will be happy with your purchase of this one.

What a great knife this! Beautiful workmanship, polished to perfection with a fantastic handle. The leather sheath is well made and the edge is razor sharp. This knife is a steal for the price and I intend to buy several more for gifts. Highly recommend this for anyone who is serious about owing quality knives.

his knife is amazing I just received on back order took a chance when buying glad I did was always carring a schf24 now carry this, sharp enough to shave but don't do it you'll skin yourself, german stainless china made, don't care for sheath but you can live with it,i order 4 more blade is thick which I always want in a knife good grip and weight. don't pass this buy they might not have anymore.

I love the blade now more than when I saw and its a very good quality I don't know who you had ship them but one of my boxes inside was dented and slightly broken but other wise it was all good

bought this knife along with another set the look of this 1 really surprised me it is as pretty in hand as it is on-line, since purchasing it I haven't gone 1 day without it on my hip very easy to keep sharp want to get another 1 for the wife absolutely awesome knife

This is an excellent knife to keep on your belt when camping or hiking. It's not too big or bulky, and also has a razor sharp edge. It has a nice weight and balance to it, (as other reviewers mentioned) and is easily worth $20. If you buy it, you won't be disappointed.

This knife is really well built. The blade is not too heavy, but has enough weight to make a nice impact. It feels comfortable and balanced in my hand. It arrived already sharp, but just a few passes on my sharpener and it now has a razor edge. I would definately recommend this knife.

I bought this knife for my husband and fell in love with it. I showed him the knife I bought for myself so I really do got to get him one now. I have a small hand and of course he has a big hand and yet this knife felt good in both our hands. Please don't tell him I bought it for him to start with. OK, just kidding there, I already told him that but he's happy to wait till we get his ordered.

I have purchased 5 (really 6 but I have two of this knife) Timber Wolf knives. In their price range it's pretty hard to beat them. This is the best of them and I would not hesitate to give this as a gift. The steel is good, full tang, a little on the heavy side but I like a knife that has enough steel in it to know it's there. It's sharp but not "razor sharp" out of the box. Give it a couple sharpening passes, it'll take the edge and again my preference is that I put my own edge on a knife. I'd buy again (actually I did.) Bottom line to me is Timber Wolf makes some decent knives and this one probably the best they have to offer.

This knife arrived flawless and relatively sharp. Two passes on the stone and it is superbly sharp now. It has a great feel in the hand and a fine balance as well. This is a quality blade at an excellent price.

I love this knife! It is very narrow, barely widening at all along the handle, but not too narrow so you can't grip it properly. It had a nice balance, and weight. I wear it upside down on my belt and it does not flop around, and sits very comfortably. The sheath is actual leather, and had a solid build to it. Over all, for this price, you are practically stealing this knife. Definitely suggest getting to anyone looking at this.

The Timber Wolf Blazin Bowie is a well made, amazing edge, tough little fixed blade knife. I am still surprised at the Bud K price in that the quality of the entire Timber Wolf line is way below what I'd expect to pay for a knife as good as this. The grip and feel of the blade is almost custom for me which makes it a joy to use. Anytime I'm out in the woods, this baby is strapped to my belt. Haven't yet found a job it couldn't handle. this would make a wonderful gift for any outdoors person you may know. I'm ordering several just for that reason. Great buy. i got my timber wolf weeks ago and field tested it before i gave it to my wife for a reliable blade up to any task. this is by far one of the best working knives iv ever seen one to count on. the blade is short for my taste but is just right for my wife so i want to thank u budk for given such a good price.

Just received the Timber Wolf Bowie and I was blown away by the overall look, feel, and quality of this knife. I don't believe you could find a better knife for 3 times the price. Would recommend to anyone, and I'm in the process of ordering two more for myself.

I have had a lot of knives over the years, some cheaper and others much more expensive but this is by far the best fixed blade knife I have ever used. The grip and the balance make this knife feel like it was custom made for my hand and the blade holds a great edge without much work. Mark my words, this sucker is going to be my number one utility/hunting knife for years.

Came sharp enough to shave, beautiful craftsmanship, the sheath is a little darker then the one in the immage, verry sturdy made, good weight, was a little larger then i had expected.. i'll be keeping this one in my tackle box

I own many knives and this is my all around favorite knife. The balance and feel is excellent, looks great and function as a utility knife is unsurpassed. Also an excellent fighting knife. This is my favorite knife. Have given them as gifts.

This is one of the best fixed blades I have ever bought. Comes nice and sharp, had it over a year and is still sharp. I work in the park service so it gets used alot. The only thing to complain about is the sheath, if you buy this knife you should water treat the leather sheath.

This bowie really does what it is supposed to do. It is heavy and sturdy and sharp. Although very nice and shinny it will become a little bit dirtier. It is perfectly balanced and fits perfectly in the hand. I used it for several things including debarking and chopping twigs and sticks for kindling. You can hack away at a 1 inch in diameter stick and it will give away pretty easily. It is a beautiful knife and has kept its blade pretty well throughout its tasks. May need to be stronger than the average guy to stab well with it.

Great all around knife would like to have another one only with a longer blade give me one with a 8.5" blade and the same sheath and id give that knife 5 stars

I totally love this knife and I wear it everywhere I go. However, I'm more than disappointed in the sheath. The material it's made of is soft and the knife being handle heavy allows the knife when sheathed to move and slant forward. In order to keep the knife in place when sheathed I find that I must put the down end in my pocket. Wish it was made of heavy material around the area of the belt loop so the Knife will stay in place.

I really like this knife. It is the perfect size and weight for what I like to use. The factory edge was very good and it sharpens easily. It is durable enough for frequent and heavy use but also has a very pleasing look to it. The sheath is cheap, but it is well designed. The snap fits snugly around the large finger guard and really locks it down. It doesn't move around at all when sheathed properly. For what I paid, I'm very happy with it. I'm tempted to buy a second one.

very classy looking blade only problem is ther is no wolf on the blade like displayed on the website

This knife is well done, well balanced and pleasant to the eye. I like the style . Would have liked to have a guard that is not part of the blade, but it is still a great knife.

Great looking and well built knife. Feels good in the hand and has great balance. It had a small notch in the blade when I unwrapped it but it sharpened right out.

I gave this knife to my grandson as Christmas gift, he was really pleased with it.

Right out of the box you can see and feel the quality of this German Steel full tang knife. Excellent balance, very sharp and a good camp knife small enough not to be cumbersome on a belt. Has a simple useful feature of having a hole in the handle for a lanyard. In town we have about half a dozen local sporting goods and shooting supply stores and to get a knife this good in town I would pay at least double the BUDK price.

The fit and finish on this knife are excellent...more like what you would expect from a knife in the $75 $100 range. German stainless steel but assembled in China. The Chinese are getting better at quality production and this knife is a good example. The fit and finish are excellent! The knife came very sharp and seems to hold it's edge well. The sheath however is of poor quality, that's the only reason I gave it for 4 stars instead of 5. Remember this knife is under $20, an outstanding value from Bud K.

This is a good quality knife. I love the look of it and I love the feel. Its perfectly balance and hangs nicely off my belt. The only problem I have with it is the locking strap on the leather sheath for it. With mine it seems like it was angled to far down for it to lock properly. Also during use of my knife the tip of it broke off. Otherwise this is a great knife to own for use or display.

I bought this knife several months ago as I was looking for a nice, smallish knife to take with me trail riding. I've purchased Timber Wolf knives before and have been very happy with them. This knife looks nice but the handle is too thin to fit comfortably in one's hand; it needs to be half again as thick to be properly balanced.

These knives look great and perform well but, the steel is very brittle. The blade will snap with a small amount of concussive force.
