An impressive showpiece Reviewed by Sam on May 24, 2013   4 out of 5

This knife is one solid piece of work. Good quality Damascus steel, and it is bigger and heavier than it looks. I love the design and obvious quality of the knife, which surprised me, as it was made in Pakistan. There are some downsides to it though. The blade doesn't lock at all, which is good for a showpiece knife, but not so good for anything else. Also, Damascus is not stainless, so if you take it out of the sheath a lot, you'll need to oil it. And the handle is Damascus, so if you don't like the feeling of an oily handle, this is a problem. Also, the filework, wile visually appealing, leaves all kinds of nooks for rust to get into. I've had the knife for a couple of months now, and I've had to clean rust off of it a few times now. So, all in all, great as a showpiece, and that's about it.
