Beware of the oil... Reviewed by John DeGroof on Aug 27, 2016   4 out of 5

First off, beware of the extreme excessive use of oil! Have gloves (if you're afraid of getting messy) and paper towels ready when you unpack this knife. Oil will literally drip out of the packaging! Was that REALLY necessary? I mean, the knife is literally dripping oil! I understand the need to oil a knife, but... seems excessive. As another reviewer mentioned, this knife is not without a few blemishes. I wouldn't expect scratches out of the box. The company needs to work on how they treat these knives on the assembly line, before packaging. At a higher price point, I would expect them to be scratch-free. Once the dripping stopped, I was able to admire the beauty of this knife. Sharpening could have been better (more even, lack of nicks, etc.), but this seems to be one of the better jobs from this brand. This will be a display knife, but may see occasional use. My trusty ol' Buck 110 gets the abuse.

My favorite pocket knife Reviewed by Kurt MORGAN on May 23, 2016   5 out of 5

I got this beauty in a mystery bag. No idea why I got so lucky but it is my favorite pocket knife now. I am a 6' 4" 245lb man so it's large size is perfect for me. Call it the pocket knife for the big and tall gentleman. It feels and looks like the type of knife one should pass down in the family, heirloom style. The only problem with this knife is I know it would be super useful but it's too pretty for me to bring myself to beat it up. It's going to end up being the most utilitarian display piece in the world until I can afford another one haha. The picture is not camera tricks...it looks as good if not better in person.

Great knife bad exeriance Reviewed by Darien Tomlinson on Sep 22, 2015   2 out of 5

I recently ordered this product for a wedding gift. Straight out of the box I noticed the left side of the knife had quite a few blemishes, but It did not stop there after I cleaned it up I noticed spots of rust and the lock on the blade did not work. Although the knife was a beautiful wonderfully crafted piece with a great weight and feel. I am sad to rate this knife so low.

Nice and big Reviewed by Papawgary on Feb 04, 2015   5 out of 5

I really like this knife because it is beautiful and well made. I'm no expert but the sheath seems to me to be well made too. The item is just as described and the file work was well done. I like that this knife is in between fit from my smaller pocket knife and my hunting knife. It's large enough to be a good defense weapon and for those interested came very sharp. First time carrying this I opted to carry it in my pocket as opposed to the sheath for concealment and it was not intrusive. Highly recommended.
