Nice Knife with a Side of... Green Goo? Reviewed by Kaya Hallelujah on Dec 22, 2015   4 out of 5

The knife arrived in a box, as most knives do. Inside of the box was a bag that contained the knife and a lot of neon green goo that smelled faintly of pine. The greasy, gooey liquid filled up the bag and surrounded the knife, making the knife greasy and gooey and wet with the stuff! The goo got into the filework and was difficult to get out. I scrubbed and scrubbed, using dish soap and dial soap and cold water, and finally removed the goo from the knife after a fair amount of time and work. I then had to do the same thing to get the goo off of my hands. Based on the color, I think this is probably some kind of dyeing agent. Despite the fact that the knife is still slightly greasy to the touch, it is a very nice knife. It's pretty sharp although not the sharpest, but that can easily be fixed. It's also a simply beautiful knife with outstanding filework and a beautiful mosaic handle. The locking mechanism works. All in all, great for the price if you don't mind cleaning off the greasy goo for a little while.

I like this knife very much. It came very well packaged and oiled, the ram horn and mosaic look even better in person. I examined the knife closely and i didn't seem to find any rust spots which is nice. I really like the sheath it came with, very hardy and reliable. It was pretty sharp which is nice. I would recommend this knife to anyone who want a good damascus blade.
