Timber Wolf's Woodland Trident Knife Set prepares you for any cutting job, in any terrain, in any conditions. The all purpose blade trio includes a handy 4 1/2" (closed) pocket knife, a versatile 15" fixed blade bowie and a stout 23" machete. Each knife boasts its own array of distinct talents, but all three have at least one thing in common - rock solid construction and materials that stand up to years of vigorous use in even the most challenging environments. Case in point: every blade in the Woodland Trident set is forged from tough, corrosion resistant stainless steel, but the blade profiles are unique - each one carefully designed for a specific set of tasks. Take the machete - its 17 1/4" modified golok blade is perfect for slashing thick brush, hacking tough branches and even light chopping, while the compact profile of the pocket folder's 3 1/4" drop point blade makes it ideal for slicing, paring, caping, skinning, carving and a wide assortment of other tasks that require a more delicate touch. With just a firm nudge of the flipper or thumb stud, the folder's sleek blade deploys in a flash, thanks to its silky smooth assisted opening mechanism. Once opened, the sturdy liner lock keeps the folding blade fixed firmly in position for added safety and stability during use. When not in use, the convenient pocket clip secures the folder where you want it. The Woodland Trident bowie is an especially multitalented workhorse. Its 9 1/2" modified clip point blade can chop, slice, hack and slash its way through any job, from backyard to back country. All the knives in the Woodland Trident set feature durable pakkawood handles, each one stained a rich mahogany brown and ergonomically contoured for maximum comfort during long cutting sessions. The bowie and machete include their own heavy duty nylon belt/shoulder sheaths for easy transport and lasting protection from the elements. With all these exciting features, the Woodland Trident set would still be a bargain at three and even four times its price, but, thankfully, you get all three incredible knives at less than you'd pay elsewhere for a single knife of lesser quality. For rigorous remote back country adventures, light yard chores and every job in between, Timber Wolf's Woodland Trident 3-Piece Knife Set has the strength, power and skill set you need to get it done right the first time, every time.

Timber Wolf Does It Again! Reviewed by Yibin Mu on Feb 12, 2018   5 out of 5

Phenomenal works of art for the price. The blades on all three are perfectly straight. Folder locks securely - no blade play at all. While not spring assisted, it still uses better hinge materials than something even as my Smith & Wesson camo karambit so it opens without a problem with a small flick of the wrist. The very end of the bowie clip point is devestating - very nice for clearing brush. Slightly thicker than the golok machete but they are all considerably thick. I haven't used the machete yet but judging by the great, sharp 3CR13 steel used in these, I expect the machete to perform fantastically as well. I think of the machete as a Mongolian golok wakizashi HA! I love it. The handles on the fixed blades are even ergonomically carved inwards. Sheaths are fine but could be improved by using buckle clasps. Not a huge problem because after all, all three are $20. The only real downside is that the blood grooves are present on just one side, but it is a small inconvenience that does not impact performance. I'm a "function over form" guy. Oh, and the adjustment screws are good quality. 10/10 would buy again if misplaced. Timber Wolf is proving to be one of my favourite companies after purchasing a few of their other offers.

$20 for three knives, you can't go wrong. The folder has two opening assist studs; one on the back of the blade and a thumb stud. Manipulation of either provides a very fast opening with the flick of the wrist The two fixed blades are nice heavy blades though they only have a blood groove on one side of the blade thus my 4 star rating. I thought that was a little weird, though for $20 they're not going back. The other thing I didn't like about them was that the edges of the beautiful wood handles, on all the knives, are kind of sharp though I'd imagine they"ll become more smooth with usage. All in all an excellent value.
