    This sword looks just like the classic sword given to the fiercest protectors of these United States. Whether you are a tough, respected United States Marine, veteran or you are a fan of those rare and valued guardians of our beloved country, you will love having this short sword in your collection. The stainless steel blade is 11" and features a United States Marines etch. The simulated ivory handle is accented with a brass-plated guard and accents. This short sword includes a cast aluminum scabbard with brass-plated accents and lanyard rings. 15 3/8" overall.

    The edges are not sharp but there is a very sharp point on both of mine, they look very impressive the handles are excellent, and the steel scabbard really makes this a must have.

    Good blade, but VERY short, almost dagger sized. the handle is plastic with metal studs, but comfortable. so, if you're looking for a marine sword, get the actual one. it might be a few bucks more, but it's worth it. so, this sword is ok for your first one, but don't buy it otherwise.
