The non-corrosive stainless steel blade has a black coating for non-reflective purposes with a USMC engraving. The stacked leather handle offers a secure grip, for the dependability that Marines rely upon. it ain't no KBar Reviewed by ATD on May 21, 2013   3 out of 5

it looks legit and feels good, but the blade shrinks down to about 1/3" when it disappears into the handle meaning it probably won't take too many whacks before the blade breaks, the hand guard comes loose or the pommel comes loose. OK for light/med duty but I won't be using it to baton through logs for firewood.

I gave it 4 stars because the sheath was 'Cheesy' had the shoemaker make me a 9oz leather sheath for it. The knife itself is better than i expected for a knock-off.

Great Deal Reviewed by cliff on Feb 19, 2013   5 out of 5

This is a really durable weapon. This is not some piece of crap imation knife. It has a real fine edge & a hard leather handle properly balanced. Look i its your lose if you cannot see that this is the real thing. Great knife for the price. Buy a shealth the one that comes with it is not good but the knife is still worth buying .I bought seperate a hoster of my choice! the Knife is worth it.

I love this knife. Well made and the sheath was ok. Came with a decent edge but I used my wetstone and now it shaves the hair on my arms. Only complaint was the sheath came apart but i'm getting another sometime soon.

Without a doubt one of the best purchases made on this site. You will not be disappointed at all. The blade is thick and comes with a sharpening stone you will used if in a bind to resharpen while away from your home sharpener Unsure if the sheath is real leather but it holds up really well and fits on your belt like any other not hanging too low or getting in the way. The Knife is sharp enough to skin a deer out of box but some like it sharper, it's almost an OCD thing with sharpening knives. This thing stands up well next to the original Ka-Bar, which my father owns so I compared. The coating is not a baked on look like my fathers but it still sticks extremely well throughout rugged use. It is well worth 19.99+++ Buy this, Approval Guaranteed from me personally.

Decent Knife. Crap Sheath Reviewed by Cody on Nov 18, 2012   3 out of 5

The Knife itself was pretty decent (about what you'd expect for $20). The sheath is junk, man made not real leather like the description says. All in all not bad, I plan to make a new sheath anyway.

I bought two when they went on sale for 12.99 and they came sharp, but with a little work, you can give it a nice edge. The sheath was kinda cheap but for 12.99...who cares.
