This is a heavy-duty large-scale knife. Its built tough and will handle day to day usage. I would highly recommend this knife. I give it 5 stars for the low price!
Also, on the box it had a silver offical US Marine sticker on it. Would anyone anyone know why? Was it issued?
This knife is very hefty. It weighs a lot and its quality is very superior to other knives. I ordered a ton of knives and this one by far is my favorite. The stonewash finish gives it a very rustic and manly look. Knife came out of the box sharp and will definitely last a long time.
I bought this as soon as I saw it, I previously bought the United Cutlery Edge Camo Rescue knife for the same price and it's lasted about a year now. I saw this knife trying to emulate that one and I had to pick it up. This a big knife for a folding pocket knife, it's one of those big manly man knives and I love it. The thickness and weight could be a turn off for most people but I like it. The G10 layered between the metal of the frame is a little bit rough on the skin, especially on the gimping where your thumb goes. The glass breaker feels a little odd, almost like it's not metal, but I tested it by punching it into the bottom of aluminum soda cans and it went right through, so I assume it will be OK. Those two things were the only issues I had, the blade was pretty sharp coming our of the box, but I plan on sharpening it more later. A big sturdy knife and a steal for the price!
Seems well made but is problematic due to heft and bulk. Maybe in a fatigue style cargo pocket but not ordinary jeans or jacket pockets. Too much effort, in my opinion, to have this knife "look tough" rather than keep practical considerations in mind. Check out a 'Ridge Runner' Rescue Folder for something a bit easier to handle and possibly a little less expensive.Sorry for the bummer review.
