Very heavy, very sturdy... Reviewed by on Jun 16, 2016   5 out of 5

But I WOULD NOT use this as anything but a wall-hanger orvery slow moving, methodical practice... This will not take any wear and tear...it'll fall apart if it makes impact with something solid. Still though...it feels sturdy, I feel safe swinging it around as long as I'm not turbo speed... The daggers are a bit problematic and not really functional as weapons...when would you ever have time to pull the from the guard and use them...and WHY would you do that as long as you have the sword in hand??? Still, overall...great piece for the price. Got mine as a gift, certainly don't hate it.

Beautiful design but needs some tweaking Reviewed by JACOB WILSON on Mar 22, 2016   5 out of 5

This sword is a beautiful design, and seems to be inspired by the Eragon movie swords (pommel is like Durza's sword, guard & handle are similar to Galbatorix's sword, red blade and curved guard are like Eragon's). In my case, the sword was for wearing with a Witcher/Ren-Faire outfit, so it needed some tweaking. The two daggers were problematic - one was too loose and the other was too tight. In addition, the sharp tips on the daggers kept poking me when I least expected it. In the end, I just hacked off the dagger blades (they don't match the sword anyway) and permanently attached the dragon-head hilts with epoxy. I also added a red jewel to the pommel, grasped in the dual claws at the end. That alone makes a huge difference in the appearance of the sword. Lastly, I removed the cheap rubberish material on the grip and replaced it with a dark red (almost black) leather wrap. After all that, the sword was indeed beautiful. I plan on adding some antique touches to the cast metal parts, and I'm also working on a scabbard wrapped in blood red reptile skin. The end result should be a unique, dramatic weapon.

about those daggers Reviewed by jordan graves on Dec 12, 2014   3 out of 5

the sword is absolutely beautiful but the daggers don't stay in the sword as well as I hoped they would. they tend to fall out of the sword (or fall out of place) when its held. However this piece is an absolutely stunning display sword.

This is a very fine make of a sword. True, it was indeed fact dull when it came out of the box. Simplle sharpen with a rod or wheel. But otherwise it is a beautiful blade. Not for chopping wood kids, this is a display sword. And great for the money as well. Thank you BudK.

this is an awesome sword. the blad eis not sharp at all. its beautiful and the red is amazing. the 2 dragon daggers will not stay in the holder so u its more of a display sword but it really looks great. i was impressed

Great for Display Reviewed by Leigha Garrity on Jul 12, 2012   4 out of 5

Simply a beautiful sword. I had to glue in the daggers because they fall out easily. It looks great on my wall! NOT RECOMMENDED FOR COMBAT THOUGH!

Good sword for looks. I ordered this sword as my first order from BUDK. But when I got it was flat edged felt unsteady and had a thin blade. So buyers I wouldn't expect to swing this sword around. But good wall hanger it looks beautiful.

Wall Hanger Reviewed by Alex on Jul 29, 2009   5 out of 5

this sword is a beautiful wall hanger but if you want to swing it around make sure you take out the daggers first because they just sit in the cut outs in the cross guard. Personally i threw them away i think it looks better without them anyway.
