good deal for price Reviewed by john hall on Apr 03, 2017   5 out of 5

I purchased these for my 01 yamaha vstar 650. I could only use the saddle bags and the lower from fork bag under the blinkers. I thought the sissy bar bag would be nice but didn't like how the one strap wrapped around the cushion, and even went as far as to remove the pad and try running the strap between the bar and pad, but that didn't work. I plan on custom making mounting system to mount it, but haven't taken the time to yet. I don't have a windshield, so the windshield bag is out. There's a big bag to mount on rear seat to strap to sissy bar that'd be great if I go on vacation, but haven't went on vacation yet, so.... The backpack is nice, but maybe a little small. They definitely want you to know it's "genuine buffalo leather" because the tag is on everything! IMHO it looks kinda pleathery to me, but it's gotta be "genuine buffalo leather" cause the tags say so. I'm pleased with the purchase. They are great for the price. Don't buy this if your expecting some great high quality, only put it on $50,000 bikes, because that's not their purpose. If your looking for a good value set of bags, you aren't going to find a better deal. The saddle bags tie on the supports. This is my first set of saddle bags, so I don't know if this is normal, but it took a while tying everything up, then wrapped the loose ends with electrical tape to keep them from flapping in the wind. Won't be taking them off any time soon. There are rain covers to cover the saddle bags, but it hasn't rained yet to test, so I can't give a comment on how effective they are. All in all, I'd buy them again. I don't think they would hold 2 gallons of milk in each side, but they do hold a 6 pack of 16 oz cans of soda (yeah soda, that's it) with room to spare.

Birthday boy get biker bags! Reviewed by Re Glass on Sep 16, 2016   5 out of 5

I received these bags from my Daughter for my birthday. They are constructed well, a nice way of using patchwork pieces of Buffalo leather on all of the bags. It will fill the need I have to fit out my Custom Harley for some needed long weekend outings in the Desert Southwest. I have not found any cons with these bags except I haven't had time to attach them to the bike yet. Looking forward to all of the room these bags have to offer for storage and not have the Harley look all piled up on going down the road. Thanks for a great product.

Not leather Reviewed by Michael Zenk on Aug 24, 2016   3 out of 5

The design of these bags is great. I just wish it was made out of leather. We will see how long they last. Extremely happy with the design. But don't think they will last very long.

Good economy bags Reviewed by on Aug 24, 2016   4 out of 5

They are decent for the price. A little small for my preference plus it's a stitched pattern, they'd look better as a smooth leather. Also the leather is on the thinner side. They look decent and are fairly resilient, so as I said a good economy bag for someone starting out.

great bags for the money Reviewed by on Nov 09, 2015   5 out of 5

Great bags for less than $100. Never seen anything like it for this price ever. I have been using these for several months on my little bike to putz around town. I can tell you that you can put two gallons of milk in each saddle bag no problem. My wife has been using the back pack as a purse for three months now and it shows no sign of wear. Great set for the money.

Good for the money Reviewed by mike ducummon on Sep 10, 2013   3 out of 5

For the cost they work. The bags must have supports to keep them from rubbing holes into them. The stitching is somewhat weak so do not try to stuff or overload. For long term use or serious road travel spend the money and get gear that is heaver leather, has good buckles [not plastic quick clips]. The bag set is good for the urban user that would use them as luggage also. Note: rider since 1964.

Great bags at a great price Reviewed by Breaux on Jul 14, 2013   5 out of 5

I recently retired. My wife and I wanted to travel, and we wanted to take a couple of bikes along. I purchased two Kawasaki Vulcan 500's. When I checked at the local bike shops, the prices for saddle bags was crazy. Most were $80+. I purchased this set, installed the saddle bags on wife's bike, the took kit and sissy bar bag on my bike. I'm not using the backpack and barrel bag just now, and I've still saved a ton of bucks. As other comments suggest, you do need the saddlebag supports to keep the bags away from tire and pipes. Great buy. Overjoyed.

Awesome universal bags Reviewed by Anthony Vanderplow on Jun 20, 2013   5 out of 5

Awesome soft leather bags. I wasn't sure if they'd work with my Harley VROD. But I put them on n they look amazing. For the price you can't beat this deal. And they look great. My VROD is a race type bike and most aftermarket bags look either euro or just wrong. I also bought a set for my 2011 Harley superglide. If your in the market for some awesome looking bags these are for you

Great set! Reviewed by Aaron R. Couch on Apr 27, 2013   5 out of 5

The set looks great and is easy to install for the most part. I have the National Cycle Switchblade windshield, so installing the windshield bag was a slight challenge, but with some good old fashioned innovation, I managed to install the bag by drilling two holes in the bag. Word of advice, if you do not have support bars for your motorcycle, it is best that you get them. The saddlebags hang pretty close to the rear wheel and getting the support bars just give that extra clearance and breathing room.

Great Set of Bags Reviewed by Aaron Burns on Apr 20, 2012   5 out of 5

The bags came very quickly, just a couple of days after I had ordered them. I was totally surprised by the excellent quality of the bags. I am very proud to have them on my bike. They were easy to install and have that sweet look.
