Ordered the knife engraved and it came beautifuly etched on . The handle feels very gripy and sturdy. The knife is almost 2 pounds and the blade itself is well balanced and high quality like all or most of u.cutlerys blades. Budk shipped it out super fast , and thanks for the engraving !!!

sweet knife awsome sheath! Reviewed by aaron waltz on Aug 05, 2016   5 out of 5

I've bought alot of knives from $10 to $50, this knife marked down to $19.98 from $29.98, didnt sell good? people are missing out...so for $20 its a great buy. I am impressed with the quality, its built sturdy and surprisingly razor sharp it will slice an envelope of junk mail in half like butter no snags just clean cut... The part that really blew my mind is the sheath its awsome for any knife and unheard of on $20 knife... Its 100% rawhide, super sturdy ,it's real nice ,the type you would see on like aN old primium fixed blade buck or (real) K-BAR ect. It feels pretty bad a*# in you're hand id like to get another so have one for each hand! So yes would buy again and recommend to buy.

Great looking knife Reviewed by Patty Jo Berg on Jul 13, 2016   4 out of 5

I love the look and feel of this knife it comes with a hair shaving edge the handle is very comfortable the one this i dislike about this blade is its is not full tang so i am worried about braking the handle from the blade even if that happens ill buy another one, other then that beautiful knife the belly of the blade is very wicked

Showpiece or defense Reviewed by shaun bersch on Jun 19, 2016   5 out of 5

I love the look and feel of this karambit, I love the way the blade curves in the reverse of traditional karambits. This is one of my show piece knives because of its uniqueness. Worth the money.

Love it! Reviewed by on Jun 08, 2016   5 out of 5

This knife is amazing! I have zero complaints so far, the sheath is incredibly sturdy and fits snug as a bug in a rug. The blade itself is high quality but didnt come very sharp, luckily I bought it with a sharpener and with a few swipes it was like a razor. Another great purchase from Budk!

Received my Aizu ring fighter about a month ago. Now that I have one in my hands, kinda reminds me of a jambiya knife, guessing that was it's inspiration, except single edged. Double blading it I think would of been a good idea now that I've handled it though. Needed some sharping, but seems to take a edge well. I have a few other Honshu knifes and think their well made for the price. Like some of the online reviews I've read, the sheath could use some redesigning. The blade fits nice and tightly, but the snap-strap is bolted though both ended of the belt loop making it to small for a belt. So you can't wear it. I'm thinking of trying to rig up a way to wear it lower on my leg, more a tactical carry. But still thinking that one though...:-) May remove the snap-strap if I can figure out how to, it's not needed at all. All in all, a really nice knife, seems well made. Really like the rubberized grip too. Three stars because of the sheath.

Just received this for Christmas. I have a few other Honshu model knifes and find them to be well made for the value. I like the rubber grip, I do find it to fits better in a reverse grip, fits my hand better that way. Although I would prefer using it in the standard grip, with this style of knife. Now, like a few other reviews I've read. The sheath should of been rethought out. It fits nice and tight in the sheath, with I like, so the snap strap is kinda useless and just in the way, plus they put the rivet though both ends of the belt loop rendering it fairly useless as well. Way to small to fit a belt though. I'm thinking about taking the rivet out to open the belt loop so it's wearable. Just thinking of the less evasive way of doing it without damaging it. All in all a good knife for the value. I think the Honshu models are a really nice improvement for united cutlery.
