Amazing! Reviewed by Sean Moran on Jan 12, 2016   5 out of 5

I got this knife during a deal so I wasn't going to be angry if it ended up terrible. A few days later my shipment arrived and I opened up this knife and what I found was a great feeling/looking stinger. All I can say is buy this knife... Buy two

Won't take an edge Reviewed by Mark Stotsky on Dec 05, 2015   4 out of 5

Cool looking knife, sharp point, shoulder holster works surprisingly well. Knife feels good in the hand and has a nice weight to it. Have to knock off a star because the description says "razor sharp" but mine came dull as a butter knife, and will not take an edge. Good for stabbing but not for slashing. Still a decent value if you buy it on sale.

United Cutlery Special Agent Stinger Purpose: Light cutting, Self-Defense Ratings out of 10 Blade 7/10 Handle: 7/10 Edge: 7/10 Sheath: 8/10 Durability:6/10 The better-than-average seven dollar knife. Most knives in this price range are throw-away pocket junkers or all show, no go decorative pieces. The United Cutlery Stinger is actually a decent knife. Now, this sure won't stand up against higher priced knives of the same ilk, but for something cool on a budget, this isn't a bad way to go... and for the price, it's certainly worth the dice roll. The blade is your typical, low dollar stainless. That being said, it IS a full tang and a fairly nice looking design. The edge is decently sharp out of the box and the point is... well... pointy. The blade is thinner, so I wouldn't advise sticking this in hard surfaces or using it as a thrower. Odds are, you'll bend or break the tip. The blade is double edged, with about two inches of serration on one side. The serrations are wicked sharp. Again, probably wouldn't go sawing things overly hard with it, but hey... it's a seven dollar knife. A thin blood groove runs down the center of the blade on both sides and the taper of the blade is well designed. The handle is a comfortable rubber with ridges that run about an inch under the guard and around the butt of the knife and provide a sure grip. Speaking of the guard, know that the guard itself is just molded rubber with no metal underneath. Helps keep a decent grip on the knife, but don't count on it protecting your fingers from anything sharp or deflecting some type of hard impact. The handle is comfortable to use in the standard and ice pick grip, as well as a saber grip, and has a vaguely similar feel to other knives of this pattern (Applegate-Fairbairns, ect). The end does have a lanyard hole, but the shorter grip on the knife makes this more of a decorative feature than one that a person with larger hands might use. I thought the shoulder holster sheath was a bit of a gimmick, and it may very well be... but it's a pretty cool gimmick. The shoulder straps are of better quality than one would expect on a knife of this price range (or even a few bucks better for that matter), and actually fairly comfortable to wear. Should you choose to wear this in the shoulder configuration, it does conceal the knife well under clothing and holds it flat against the body. The snap closure does hold the knife solidly in place, and the nylon sheath has a plastic insert to keep you from poking a hole thru the nylon, and has a rivet at the mouth of the sheath on each side for better durability than just stitching. The loop to secure the sheath to your belt while inverted could also be used to carry the knife in a normal fashion, but would require cutting off the shoulder straps. United makes this same knife with different sheath configurations should you choose to go that way. I have purpose listed this as a "self-defense" or fighting type knife, which is what the design is. While this knife might do in a pinch (something is sure better than nothing), I don't believe it would stand up to continued, or heavy abuse. The edge is suitable for every day cutting tasks (opening mail, cutting packages, ect). Probably not the best for prying, but it should slice pretty well... and again.... seven dollar knife. All told, it's a knife... it's fun... it looks cool... it has a neat sheath.... and it's seven bucks. You really can't go wrong. Worth the grab for the price. Stay Sharp! "13"

Great Knife Reviewed by Josh Hawkins on Jan 31, 2015   5 out of 5

Great Knife! The harness feels great and will go unnoticed if we you wear it in public. Way better than the price suggests. Recommend it for everyone looking for a nice piece.

This knife is as easily worn as a pair of suspenders , mine was sharp out of the box as well. This knife adds to your comfort when youre out and about, the most concealed you can get!

Little gem Reviewed by Conor on Jan 05, 2015   5 out of 5

This is a little gem, low price, durable, surprisingly strong sheath. I'll have to sharpen it myself because my standards are too high for sharpness, however for this price you can't do any better.

great knive Reviewed by chris on Dec 08, 2014   5 out of 5

i like this knife for many reasons, one would be its size. the size if perfect for anything not to big or small and works well. also the shoulder harness the reason i like that so much is because it gets way to cold in MN to reach you bare hand in your pocket in the winter with no glove on now i don't have to do that and i can rely on the sheath because it is pretty strong... if your looking for the perfect knife for 7 dollars this is what you need. strong durable and just a BA knife

Pretty Cool Reviewed by Trey on Dec 03, 2014   4 out of 5

Shoulder harness, awesome. Sheath, pretty nice. Blade, strong and mildly sharp. Only problem I see is the serrated part is pretty large and it takes away from the secret agenty ninja-ness. Other wise super cool knife. Good buy.
