It's display. Not fighting. Reviewed by Mr.longevity on Jun 22, 2012   4 out of 5

The sword is for display. It looks great but it won't hold up in a fight. It's a nice looking piece though. It's not supposed to be sharp or used in combat. If you want a combat katana, look for Damascus steal. This is stainless.

Anime sword Reviewed by james on Apr 10, 2012   4 out of 5

This is a sword "inspired by" a sword from the anime/manga Bleach. It wouldn't be sharp as in bleach it is dull. As being a show sword and for only 20$ its worth it.

No Edge At All! Reviewed by P B on Jan 11, 2012   2 out of 5

Just received this yesterday and I am disappointed. Comes with a squared off edge with faux finish on the blade sides. Literally the top and bottom of the blade are identical except that the "sharpened" edge is merely tapered a bit, not even a rounded blunting. If you do not own an angle grinder, bench grinder, or a drimmel tool with grinder attachment, or just do not wish to spend the time grinding an edge to the blade DO NOT BUY!! The tsuba (guard) appears to have been glued together and the habaki (blade collar) is just a crimped on piece. It would make a fair display with some cleaning up and only from a distance...up close it looks very cheaply made. Returning it as soon as I can get to the UPS Store.
