"I got this little beauty for my niece, She absolutely loved it. perfect balance and weight for her size. As her first real battle sword to wear for Renn fairs or cosplay events. Crafting is flawless and the Damascus pattern on the blade really sets it off. Blade is razor sharp end to end out of the box. Very happy with this sword."
"This is absolutely 100% Damascus steel I sanded mine down I painted it black I've been dealing with swords for a very long time almost 20 years at least testing them putting them through the thick of things I've been dealing with knives my entire life for as long as I can remember and this sword is Damascus steel and it is functional to use as defense piece. You're not going to hit stuff with this sword though if you used it it would be dire need but it would work and it would it's a huntsman sword it's not meant for trying to cut down a tree or to cut a branch or none of that it's meant for self-defense and Timber Wolf did a great job of making this sword this is a beautiful beautiful sword well worth the money worth more than what you pay and most of these things really are Combat Commander you're getting your money exactly almost every time still great brand but it's a cheaper sword this sword you're paying more than what they could be asking for it because timberwolf cares about their consumer they want to provide the functional products that are also very nice at affordable price though they could be asking more Honshu could make more money on theirs also but it's great that they give us the prices they do and then they give us sales so whenever I do give a bad rating it's bad for a reason that weapon or whatever it was did not work to the way it was supposed to function if there was was just a wall anger then it's more than worth the money still but it's not Timber Wolf and BudK did great with this sword in crafting pricing and advertising more than worth your money I would get two but I only need one but the black I hope they let me post a picture because it looks beautiful and black again like I said with the piece before without painting it it is a beautiful sword but after painting it black after I had sanded it did Damascus shines through it some of the silver still shines through the handle the weight is good it feels great in your hand and the look and feel it gives is like history's dark past come back the stealthy shadow from the past. ! "I've been looking at these for awhile and when they came up in a bogo sale I had to get them. I'm totally satisfied with the quality of both the swords and the sheaths and the price was unbelievable. I buy sell and trade knives and have just started getting into swords. I would love to keep these but if there's a profit to be made there gone."

"i have not bought this sword. but i can tell buy looking at this. is that on true damascus steel you cannot see that kind of pattern without shineing a flashlight on it at low power on a angle. if you used sandpaper it would come off. this is just the pattern of it. im not saying that this is a bad short sword but the title should say damascus pattern. also since its only has a half tang idk how well it would be for cutting use."
"I agree with the other reviews in that this is a very nice blade. I don't have any complaint about the sheath either. I got 2 of these in a BOGO deal so I won't complain about one of the sheaths having a slight oil stain either. My 4 stars instead of 5 is because slapping the sword against my leg I feel a bit of what feels like flexing making them feel a little thin. Could be a result of the BOGO deal. Could be I don't know what a sword should feel like. Anyway, I'm very pleased with them."
"amazing sword, feels great right out of the box. The sheath is sturdy and the blade looks amazing. The only thing wrong is the clip that holds the sword in isn't long enough to buckle it, but other then that worth every penny."
