12 knives for $20? Not only that but good shape, easy throw, and nice edge. If you're into throwing knives, this is a fantastic set for practice or application.
This is a great deal! They came fairly sharp but I hit them up with my sharpener and now they are super sharp, very solid, great for target practice. I want another set or 2 and would highly recommend it to anyone, experts or newbies!!
I began throwing my family's kitchen knives into the lawn, then went on to soda cans, and various paper targets. My older brother's best friend introduced me to real throwing knives, and I began using his whenever I could. Finally I got to get my own. Based on the reviews and my wallet I got these. Man it is like a whole new world of throwing. These knives go where I throw them and have such a great stick. They have turned my throwing experience into so much more fun. I thank the more experienced knife throwers for leading me to these great knives with their reviews.
I bought these because of my tight budget. I know that shorter throwing knives aren't the best, but its good to practice with! I really like these, but it will take practice before you can get them to stick. I recommend buying a pine wood target from a hardware store. Great first throwers, and they can take a beating!
I have tried a good number of throwing knives many which were much more expensive. These seem to hit the mark almost every time. I probably shouldnt brag about missing my target but one time when I did, I was really impressed that its very sharp blade actually nailed a nearby aluminum garden shed and penetrated nearly 3 inches into it. OK, the thrower (person) sucks but the thrower (knives) could potentially make awesome defenders in well practiced hands!
