"Picked this up on a 30% off sale - it's a great deal! Mine fit together perfectly - all holes lined up and there were exactly the number of screws needed. There were no flaws on any of the pieces. They are all a flat black and the wood is relatively smooth. I plan to spray mine with a granite textured finish to give it that stone appearance. Of course I'll tape off the decorative pieces and the resting grooves. The grooves will get a black felt addition so the sayas are not resting on bare wood. Gorilla Glue works well for this. It will be nice to have my collection in one place."

"For the money, it is fine. However, finish quality is scarred and it looks as if it was sprayed with Rustoleum (actually a generic poor quality version). This will be relegated to a closet for my lower grade cutters (like the POS Shinwas). For the money, what would you expect? Suits the purpose of a closet storage rack."
