Black-Powder Revolver celebrates the classic look and handling. Features include a brass frame and trigger guard, blued steel cylinder, octagonal barrel and walnut grips. Easily removable, replaceable cylinders make reloading extremely fast. This compact version has a 5 1/2” barrel, making it easier to holster and handle.

"First, I ordered on the 11th and had the product in my hand on the 13th with free shipping, that is 5 stars all day. . . thank you BudK!!! The Remington 1858 is a nice black powder revolver, and nicer with BudK 10% DISCOUNT that I used. Best price around. I wanted the Sheriff Model for I like the shorter barrel, it looks great and handles well. I have several different black powder revolvers and this one is as nice as any Pietta brass I have. You will as usual need to do a little smoothing over some sharp places on the brass if you are into smoothing out your brass frame as I like to do on them all. I also like to patina or fake age my brass to make it appear older, that is just trial and error, I haven't perfected a technique yet, but it is fun to tinker. Good thing about brass is if you don't like the finish you can polish it right back to a shine. If you like these old revolvers BudK is the place to buy, best service hands down."

"Excellent reproduction the feel the weight the balance and shooting is great. Can't beat it or BudK with price an customers service. I feel you'll be very satisfied as I am. Suggest 25 grains blackpowder or Pyrodex followed with 10 grains dry cream of wheat a lubes wad then .454 ball. Pinch # 11 caps or upgrade to Treso or slix shots nipples smooth hammer surfaces with 600 to 1000 grit sandpaper lightly watch a video or take to a gunsmith an you'll have a shooter for many years. Don't forget to get yours at BudK. I also added pearl an gold leaf with Indian head penny grips. I live mine an will continue to be a customer of BudK."

"Great product! I bought two. "His & hers" primers are hard to find but that won't last. Other than that, had to adjust my front site a bit, and file the loading lever a little., My wife's was fine for her right out of the box. And about Budk..., they're awesome to, very personal.
