"Love it and this is the 2nd one that I've bought. Grip is great, blade is good and sharp, look is very fine. Has a great old-fashioned "1942" vibe. However, this blade ships in a too short box which curls up the end of the nylon webbing sheath, making it likely that the point will poke through. The USMC blackout version with the same exact blade has a reinforced point on its scabbard. DO NOT buy the Snake Eye version with the black grip."

"Like the sword - light - good balance - Would have been nice if it was SHARP - BARELY an edge at all - Would have given 5 stars if it was sharp but now I have to sharpen almost 40"s of blade. If the swords / knifes are not sharp, BUDK should say so in their description - Let us decide if we want to sharpen it after we receive it - Not get it and then think " CRAP " -- " I " have to sharpen this thing !!!!! Disappointed in BUDK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Excellent, very happy

"It cuts bottles super nice. The easiest form for cuts, is to stand with the left foot forward, right hand up,, then perform a number 1 cut by focusing on two motions,,, flex from your left hip to swing,, and close your right pinky hard to perform the apex of the swing. ,, so, first practice closing your hand to pull from your wrist,, then practice using this wrist motion (don't move the wrist,, pull hard on the pinky) so that both motions apex at the point of impact.,, then perform some full speed swings in the air to hear the swoosh pitch is highest right at the apex. ,,, once you swing at the soda bottle,, you will have to look and find the bottle to believe you hit it, because you won't feel a thing. all 5 stars are well deserved."
