This was a very cool purchase. Got it for a friend forth his birthday and loved it. The karambit itself is pretty cool. Nice textured handle, extremely sharp and simple to use. The real bang for the buck is the sheath. I practiced with it myself and once I got the hang of it the quick-open sheath was bad-ass to use. Depending on how you pull the knife out of the sheath you can choose to auto-deploy it or not. It takes some practice but it's well worth it and you feel like a boss. Really great addition to anyone that's into collecting karambits.
I have maybe 10 different karambits I like this one better than my fixed blade Karambit you can't beat the sheath blade automatically deploys as it's coming out just put your finger in the loop and pull can't beat it, nice size for concealed excellent blade extremely Sharp thinking about purchasing two more.
I've bought several karambit from BUDK, this was a gift from a student of mine, now my EDC! The scabbard alone is worth the price. Automatic opening can't be beat! Comfortable, perfect size, VERY sharp. A little lighter than my usual knives, but I'm old school. Gonna order some more for Christmas gifts.
